Teachable is a cloud-based online course creation platform. While Teachable caters to the needs of all types of teachers, it is especially useful for teachers of online courses. In addition, Teachable is designed to allow instructors to easily create online courses from scratch, allowing for a variety of different methods of content delivery.
Asana is a project management software designed to help team members work together on projects and stay organized. Asana is easy to use and free for up to 15 users. There are three levels of integration:
Teachable + Asana. This level allows users to integrate their Asana tasks with their Teachable courses. This integration enables users to receive notifications about new tasks and add them to their course. One-way sync. This level allows users to add tasks from Teachable to their Asana project boards. It also allows users to add comments within Asana on tasks that they have added from Teachable. Two way sync. This level enables users to add tasks from Asana and stay updated with changes and comments made on these tasks in Asana.
One of the best features of the integration between Teachable and Asana is that instructors can create a course and then immediately assign it tasks in Asana. This allows instructors to start teaching immediately after the course has been created. Instructors can get started by creating a new course on Teachable and then adding an assignment in Asana. Users should note that only project managers can add assignments in Asana, so instructors must ask their team members who are project managers to add an assignment for them.
Another useful feature is the ability to post updates about tasks in Asana directly into the Teachable course. Students will be alerted about the updates through email or push notifications.
The integration allows instructors to teach students about projects, even if they are not actually doing the project themselves. If instructors choose to use one-way sync, they can just upload tasks without having to create them manually in Asana. If they choose two-way sync, then they will need to manually create tasks in both Asana and Teachable. However, this method gives students an opportunity to see how tasks evpve over time (see below.
Teachable allows instructors to create online courses quickly and easily. While it is possible to do this with other platforms, Teachable makes it easy for instructors to integrate their existing tops with their course creation process, including Google Drive and Google Forms.
The process to integrate Teachable and Asana may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
