The Desktop edition is for individual users while the Server edition is for organizations with multiple users (Rosen, n.d..

Zoom?

It has been designed to be user friendly with an intuitive interface that has all the tops needed to conduct meetings. Zoom is a great top for businesses to use for cplaborating within teams such as sales, marketing, support, and engineering or for conducting business meetings with external partners and clients. It is available on a multitude of platforms including Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Android, and iOS. Zoom also offers white label options so you can have your own branded meeting room or service (Jensen, 2015.

Integration of Tableau and Zoom

Tableau and Zoom have been integrated in order to provide convenient video conferencing features for users when performing their Tableau tasks. Before the integration was created in July 2016, it took a considerable amount of time to start a video conference session in order to complete a task using Tableau. Now users have the ability to join an existing video call with other cpleagues or clients without the need to set up a new call. With this integration, users can join a Zoom room from within Tableau Desktop by simply clicking “Join Zoom Room” from the Tableau Desktop menu. Once users click this link they are prompted to log in to the Zoom account that they would like to join the room with (Tableau Software, 2016.

Once users are logged into their Zoom account, they will be able to see all of the participants already in the Zoom room. They can then click on anyone who is already in the Zoom room and select “Invite to Tableau Desktop” from the drop down menu. This will allow them to invite users who are already in the Zoom room into their Tableau Desktop instance (Tableau Software, 2016. Benefits of Integration of Tableau and Zoom

The integration of Tableau and Zoom allows users to avoid having to change between many different pieces of software when completing various tasks. The seamless integration between these two programs allows users to easily switch between various tasks without having to navigate through several different applications. Users can now use the two programs together as if they were one program rather than two separate ones which makes it easier for users to complete various tasks in a timely manner. Due to this integration, users no longer need to feel like they are working with two different pieces of software but instead can be working with one single application that does everything they need it too (Tableau Software, 2016.

In conclusion, the integration of Tableau and Zoom has provided useful benefits for users in completing tasks in a more efficient manner. The integration of these two programs has allowed users to save time when completing various tasks by eliminating the need to navigate between applications and having to deal with a lot of things at once. Having these two programs work hand in hand has made it easier for users to complete various tasks without having to worry about switching between applications too much and being able to utilize both programs at the same time rather than one after another (Tableau Software, 2016.
