In this section, we need to show how Tableau and GoToWebinar can be integrated together. We will start with a step-by-step approach on how to use the integration option.
First of all, both Tableau and GoToWebinar have to be set up in your environment. Make sure that you have completed the steps in the setup guide until the “Set up the integration between Tableau and GoToWebinar” stage.
Next, launch Tableau Desktop and create a data source in Tableau server. In our example, we will create a data source from the web service connection called Web Service 1. For more information on how to do it, please refer to this article.
After Step 2, you should be able to access the web service from Tableau Desktop by clicking Connect>Web Services>Web Service 1>Connect to Web Service. You should see the details of Web Service 1 in the view below:
After Step 3, you should be able to select Join Meeting tab under GoToWebinar menu in Tableau Desktop. Then you should set up the session information by entering the fplowing details:
Service Name. The name of GoToWebinar service; in our example, it is GoToWebinar_Service_1.
