Sympla is a service that was created in 2002 by the Swedish company, Eniro. It is used to connect people looking for information online to people who can provide it. The product has been compared to a classifieds section of the Internet. It allows people to put up advertisements for jobs, housing, cars, etc. It also allows people to search for articles and other products as well as create their own personal profiles. In April 2007, Sympla launched a new version of its website which featured a blog-like feature called NewsMix.

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read other messages known as “tweets”. Tweets are typically text-based messages that are limited to 140 characters in length. These messages can be sent from a variety of devices including computers and mobile phones. Twitter was created in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams. The service rapidly gained popularity, with over seven million users by the end of the year. In June 2010, Twitter became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbp TWTR. As of June 2013, there were over 200 million registered users of Twitter worldwide.
