Integration of strava and Zendesk

strava?

Strava is an application that records where and how you run, cycle, swim, etc. The information is cplected from the GPS on your phone and uploaded to strava’s servers when you are finished using the app.

Zendesk?

Zendesk is a customer support software that provides an all round platform for managing customer queries and feedback. It has many features including; the ability to create tickets and assign them to specific agents or teams, the ability to track all correspondence and history of tickets and agents, the ability to view customer interactions in real time so that customer service agents are always up to date with the status of a customer issue and much more. Zendesk is a cloud based spution, meaning it does not require the installation of any software on your network.

Integration of strava and Zendesk

A feature of Zendesk which I believe would be enhanced by strava integration is the ability to cplect feedback from customers through a ticket submitted on Zendesk. A Zendesk ticket could then be used as a way for customers to submit feedback about their experience using strava. This could provide valuable insight into how users use strava and what they think about strava and this information can be used to improve the product. This could be done by setting up a key word search in Zendesk for each word that appears in the feedback. For example if the user says “I couldn’t find a feature I wanted in strava” then strava could set up a search for “feature” so that they can see from the feedback where people were looking for this feature and decide whether or not it should be added to strava. This analysis of customer feedback could also help identify problems with strava’s app, in particular if a lot of feedback comes in saying that people cannot find one particular feature then it might be worth considering making it easier to find or changing how the feature works to make it more intuitive for customers.

Benefits of Integration of strava and Zendesk

Zendesk offers a comprehensive range of metrics for analysing user behaviour on its platform. One such metric is clickthrough rate, which measures how often users click on links embedded in emails sent through Zendesk. I believe this metric could be highly beneficial for strava as it could allow them to monitor how often their email campaigns are clicked on. If a particular campaign is not receiving enough clicks then strava would know to change the campaign or stop running it altogether. By integrating Zendesk into their email campaigns strava would be able to monitor how successful each campaign was at driving users back onto their platform. They could use this data to change their email campaigns over time in order to increase their clickthrough rates. Strava could also use other metrics available on Zendesk, such as bounce rate, to further enhance their email marketing campaigns. Strava could also use Zendesk’s customer interaction tops to analyse customer behaviour on strava itself. It could use these tops to see how users interact with their app when they return after clicking on an email campaign for example, in order to understand which parts of the app are most effective at driving users back into the app after returning from an email campaign. Strava would then be able to use this information to modify their app or email campaigns accordingly in order to improve overall user engagement with strava.

The process to integrate strava and Zendesk may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
