StoryChief is an application that allows you to organize your life online. This is significantly different from Gmail because StoryChief integrates with many other applications. Although it is very simple and easy to use, it’s not fully accessible. It doesn’t have a mechanism to unread or mark as read, so the user has to do it manually. It’s still in beta and is looking for people to test it.
StoryChief enables you to organize your life by creating stories. It’s an app that helps you remember memorable moments in your life through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many more applications. These stories are cplected into one place and labeled based on their content. These labels are called “tags”, and they are topics that are related to the story. As of now, the user can only create the story through text posts and links. These links are automatically generated for you and appear as “Read more” next to it.
StoryChief also allows you to sync between multiple devices using Dropbox. When a user adds a story to his/her StoryChief account, he/she can choose which device to sync the story with. He/she can choose either all of them, or any set of them. For example, if you want to sync all stories with your desktop and laptop, you can do this. However, if you want to sync some stories with your desktop and others with your laptop, you can do that too. It will be synchronized simultaneously so all contents are up-to-date at all times. When you download the application, you won’t be able to add new stories because it’s in beta testing stage. The picture above shows how StoryChief looks like internally. The main screen has two options. “My Stories” and “Explore Stories”. important here is that it supports multiple devices and multiple accounts.
StoryChief also has a mobile version of the application, but it’s still in development and is not available in Google Play Store. The picture below shows what it looks like on a mobile screen. It’s very similar to the main screen on StoryChief, except that it’s optimized for small screens and touch interfaces. In addition, users can write stories directly from their mobile phones or tablets.
