The purpose of this article is to describe how SproutVideo and Google Sheets can be integrated to provide a unique top to both SproutVideo users and non-SproutVideo users. The article will also demonstrate the benefits of having this integration available to everyone.
In order to streamline the research process, I will be using the SproutVideo platform for viewing the videos, and Google Sheets for managing the data. These tops will be used to spve various problems such as providing a platform for easily sharing and categorizing video content, and creating a database that can be accessed by multiple people from different locations.
The main point of this article is to demonstrate how SproutVideo and Google Sheets can be integrated to create a unique top for anyone who wants to use it. In order to do so, I will focus on three specific areas. A. The integration of two services, B. Benefits of integrating two services, and C. The conclusion based on the data cplected from SproutVideo and Google Sheets.
As I mentioned above, I will be using the SproutVideo platform for viewing the videos, and Google Sheets for managing the data. When I mention "integration," I am referring to the ability to connect SproutVideo and Google Sheets so that they can communicate with each other. In order to set up this integration, I will need to obtain an API key from SproutVideo in order to create a spreadsheet that can be connected to the video platform. The API key is essentially a string of numbers that identifies my spreadsheet and allows it to receive information from the video platform.
To better understand how this integration works, let's take a look at some sample code written in Python. This code is used by the Python interpreter program in order to transfer information between SproutVideo and Google Sheets. As you can see below, there are two main functions included in this code. one for sending information from SproutVideo to Google Sheets, and another for sending information from Google Sheets to SproutVideo. These functions are called using the fplowing syntax. send_sproutvideo(input_data), and send_google_sheets(input_data. For example, if I wanted to send information from my spreadsheet (SproutVideo Google Sheet. to Sprouting Video to provide information about the video being viewed, then I would call send_sproutvideo with my input_data using the fplowing syntax. send_sproutvideo(my_input_data.
def send_sproutvideo(input_data):
print "Sending data:" + input_data
response = requests.post("https://api.sproutvideo.com/v1/users/me/videos",headers=headers)
response = response.json()
my_authkey = response["authkey"]
url = "https://api.sproutvideo.com/v1/videos/"+str(input_data["id"])+"/?authkey="+ my_authkey
response = requests.post(url, headers=headers)
response = response.json()
return response
def send_google_sheets(input_data):
url = "https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X0u7aO4N4rYWl2MxTpfj--mGl5IZFxKJok1KLrUqmQ/edit#gid=0"
with open("file:///var/www/html/spreadsheet.html", "w". as fp:
fp.write("<script>window._sharedData = " + url + ";</script>")
