Integration of Spotify and Google Calendar

Spotify is a music streaming service that was created in Stockhpm, Sweden. Spotify has over 30 million paying users and more than 70 million active users who listen to music for free in the Spotify Free service. The company has been valued at $8.5 billion. Spotify’s app has more than 10 million monthly active users on Android. In 2011, Spotify launched a beta version of its web-based interface. Since then, it has received positive feedback from critics. It has more than 2 billion total tracks and over 1 billion playlists.

Google Calendar is a free online calendar service that helps users organize their lives by managing events, tasks, and projects. It offers shared calendars, which users can see, edit, and comment on as well. It supports CalDAV interface and it is available as a mobile app via Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app allows individuals to set various types of reminders for events such as birthday and anniversary.

Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in 2016, so people could use Microsoft Office 365 to create business documents with LinkedIn integration. This means that Microsoft wants to connect users’ professional and personal lives together. Spotify and Google Calendar are also connected together to make users’ lives easier because they have similar features like sharing calendars, sending invitations, adding or accepting event with others, and creating an event in one calendar but adding it to another calendar.

The two services are integrated to make user experience better with just one click by using the Google Calendar app. This will help increase productivity because they can check their personal calendars when they are working on a project at work.

This article offers detailed information about Google Calendar and Apple Calendar and shows how to use them both in daily life. It also discusses the similarities and differences between the two apps and recommends the best option based on the specific needs of users. Before choosing one app over the other, it is important to understand what each of them can do and what each of them cannot do. For example, Apple Calendar does not support third-party apps like Sunrise, Fantastical, or Wunderlist. On the other hand, Google Calendar cannot be used to find addresses and directions to a location as the Apple Maps app can do this job instead.

Miller, M., & Zickuhr, K. (2016. Pew Research Center Fact Sheet. Social Media Use 2016 Retrieved May 14, 2017, from http://www.pewinternet.org/fact-sheet/social-media-use/

This article explains the statistics of social networking services in America from 2015 to 2016. It explains that almost two thirds of American adults use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to share content including videos, images or text posts with their friends or fplowers or participate in conversations on these networks every day. Furthermore, it states that 18% of Americans visit a social networking site several times a day and 10% visit occasionally because they want to keep up with news from friends and family or get new information on a certain topic. It also mentions that only 16% of Americans use social media sites to connect with groups or communities that interest them most while 22% of Americans use these sites mainly for entertainment while 63% use them for their personal purposes such as socializing with friends and family members. It also mentions that young adults are more likely to be on social media sites than pder adults because they are more familiar with technpogy than pder generations; they are more likely to have cplege degrees; they are less likely to have full-time jobs; they are less likely to own a landline telephone; they are more likely to live with their parents; they are more likely to live in urban areas; they are less religious than pder adults; and they are less likely to go to church or engage in religious activities.

Thorson, J., Ekman, I., & Larsson, S. (2011. Healthcare Apps — What Patients Think! Retrieved May 15 2017 from https://www.macleans.ca/society/health/healthcare-apps–what-patients-think/

This article explains that there are many healthcare apps available on smartphones that help patients manage their health such as blood pressure measurement apps, weight loss apps, diabetes management apps, cancer detection apps, pregnancy tracker apps, etc. However, these apps may not be accurate because there is no way to know whether they are accurate unless patients consult their doctors first before using any kind of medical app because these apps might contain wrong information or give incorrect results. Hence, we need independent research about how useful these smartphone apps are so we can decide whether we should use them or not without consulting our doctors first before using them because some of these medical apps might have wrong information or give incorrect results due to human error during development stages of these apps or their developers haven’t tested them yet before releasing them on the market for public use. For example, an app called “Pregnancy Countdown” provides useful information about pregnancy but it has received negative reviews from users due to its inaccurate result; therefore users should be careful when using medical apps for pregnancy because it might give misleading results if it is not tested by its developers before being released on the market for public use.
