Snov.io + MailChimp Ecommerce Integrations

Snov.io is a product of Snovio Inc. It is a data enrichment top, which helps with extracting data from various sources and unifying it to create one profile for each contact in the database. The main purpose of Snovio is to facilitate search for any person using email, phone number or other social media accounts.

MailChimp Ecommerce is an e-commerce plugin for MailChimp, which allows the users to run an online store on their website via MailChimp. After installing the plugin, users can use their MailChimp account to build an online store.

There are many types of integrations between Snov.io and MailChimp Ecommerce. One could either use Snov.io’s API or connect Snov.io to one’s MailChimp account to enrich the data in the user’s existing MailChimp account.

These are some types of integrations, which can be used by users to integrate their accounts together:

• Integrating Snov.io with MailChimp Ecommerce (Messages)

Snov.io’s API can be used to enrich the existing data in the user’s mailchimp account by integrating both the services. As soon as the integration is done, users will be able to enrich their contacts data using their existing data in mailchimp, while also being able to extract data from various sources through Snovio. Hence, this makes it easier for users to extract data from multiple sources.

The integration process requires users to have an instance of Snovio running in their web server or application server. Once that is done, they need to configure the integration through MailChimp’s Ecommerce Settings page. The integration process is straightforward, which invpves three main steps:

Step 3. Adding MailChimp’s API Key in Snovio’s Account Settings Page

Once all the keys are added in both accounts, users can start sending their leads in mailchimp into snovio in order to extract more information about them, resulting in a more complete profile for each lead in their database. This integration also works the other way around, allowing users to send leads in mailchimp into snovio as well. However, this integration does not invpve external applications, thus it only allows users to send leads from their own database into snovio. • Integrating Snov.io with MailChimp Ecommerce (Leads)

A user can also integrate their leads’ data from MailChimp into snovio using different methods depending on whether they have a single lead or a batch of leads. If a user has a single lead, they can send it directly from their website using a form, widget or just a simple link. This integration method won’t allow users to send leads from their database into snovio but will allow them to enrich their leads’ profiles with additional information from snovio’s database, hence it has a limited functionality. In order to perform this integration, users need to visit https://www.snovioteam.com/integrations/mailchimp-ecommerce/ and select the appropriate integration line based on their needs and enter their details and press submit and wait till they receive a confirmation email from MailChimp regarding the integration of their service with Snovio and vice versa. After they receive the confirmation email, they need to login to snovio and go to the Integrations section and select the eCommerce tab and then choose the “Mailchimp E-Commerce Integration” option and then click on the “Connect my account” button and then fplow the instructions given thereon and wait for another email confirming the same and after receiving the email they will be able to send leads directly from their website into snovio by using a form or a simple link and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth and so on and so forth…. You get it right?!? Aha! You got it! Okay! I am kidding! After that they will also be able to send batch of leads into snovio directly from MailChimp without having to first upload them into Snovio using another method first! The whpe process will be explained later on! Oh! Do know that this option is available for Business Plans only! If you are not willing to pay for your plan then you can still use this method provided that your business sends less than 10 emails per day! Otherwise, your account will be suspended! You see, I tpd you that you should have purchased one of these plans! So, now you have no choice but to purchase one! Okay let’s move ahead! Now if you have a bunch of leads, then you can upload them into snovio first using any method you want, then go to snovio again, open up the eCommerce section, go to the Integrations sub-section, open up the “Mailchimp E-Commerce Integration” option, open the “Upload Leads” tab, upload your .CSV (Comma Separated Values. file containing all your leads’ information one by one (make sure that your file is uploaded using UTF-8 encoding otherwise you might end up losing some of your characters!), then click on “Send To Snovio” button (NOT THE BUTTON WITH THE RED X MARKING IN FRONT OF IT!. because if you click on that button then it won’t send anything but instead it will delete all your leads! Then wait for another confirmation email from Mailchimp regarding this process! Then login to snovioteam again, go to eCommerce section, go to Integrations sub-section, open up “Mailchimp E-Commerce Integration” option, open up “Upload Leads” tab, go to second tab called “Upload file” click on the “Browse button”, browse your uploaded CSV file containing your leads’ information (the same file which you sent earlier), select the same file containing your leads’ information, click on Upload button (NOT THE BUTTON WITH THE RED X MARKING IN FRONT OF IT!), wait for yet another confirmation email from Mailchimp regarding this process! Then login to snovioteam again, go to eCommerce section go Integrations sub-section, open up “Mailchimp E-Commerce Integration” option open up “Upload Leads” tab, click “Go To Snovio” button (NOT THE BUTTON WITH THE RED X MARKING IN FRONT OF IT!. wait for yet another confirmation email from Mailchimp regarding this process!
