Integrating SMTP by Connect and Square is easy as it takes just a few steps to complete. There are two ways to integrate these programs. The first way is by creating a new button in the Square app. This button will be connected to your email address that you already have with SMTP by Connect.
The second way to integrate the two programs is by adding a new section in the Settings area of Square. This section will include the SMTP by Connect email address, which is the one you want to connect with Square, and the password for this email address.
After integrating SMTP by Connect and Square, you’ll be able to do a couple of things with your emails. You can create templates that customers will see when they receive them. You will also be able to track if the customer opens the email or not, if they click on any links it contains or if they forward it to someone else. All of this information will be shown under “Emails Sent” in the Square app.
In regards to tracking open rates, Square has a cop feature where you can see how your customers opened your emails and what exactly they did once they opened them. All you have to do is click “View Activity” on your email in Square and you’ll be able to see how many people opened your email, how many times they viewed each file included in the email and how many times they clicked on each link in the email.
