ShipRocket is a shipping software that creates shipping labels for e-commerce websites. The spution eliminates the need for tedious, error-prone order entry and printing of shipping labels. Once the integration between SMTP by Connect and ShipRocket is done, customers are able to purchase items online, have them shipped to their door, and pay for it all through one platform.
There are multiple options to integrate SMTP by Connect with ShipRocket. Below are three different ways to do so:
Add SMTP by Connect as a shipping source in ShipRocket’s settings page. The merchant will then be able to select this shipping option whenever they ship an order through ShipRocket. This method reduces the amount of work required by the merchant since they can simply choose SMTP by Connect as their shipping option. However, the merchant will still need to make sure that there is a valid email address associated with their account under Account Management. Add ShipRocket to the list of providers under SMTP by Connect’s Settings page. The merchant will then be able to choose ShipRocket as their shipping provider when they send out an email through SMTP by Connect. This method takes 1-2 days for setup but merchants do not have to worry about creating an account on ShipRocket. The merchant will also need to ensure that their email address is verified under SMTP by Connect before sending out emails through the platform. Add Request ID under Shipping Instructions. Merchants can create Shipping Instructions that set up the entire billing process. The steps below show how to do so:
Step 1. Create an Outbound Request (Create > Outbound Request)
Step 2. Create an instruction (Create > Instruction)
Step 3. Choose ‘Shipping’ as the delivery type (Delivery Type > Shipping)
Step 4. Enter the Request ID from ShipRocket in the ‘Password field’ (Password Field > <Request ID>)
Step 5. Assign a label name in this instruction (Label Name > <Label Name>)
