Integration of SMS Alert and Textline

SMS Alert is a software developed by Raising the Bar, Inc. to enable teachers to send text messages to their students’ cellphones for emergency situations. The company was founded in 2004 by three teachers, namely Victor Wainstein, Christopher P. Jeffries, and David Lublin, who reported that they had worked with hundreds of schop districts throughout the country. The three men had 21 years of classroom experiences.

Textline is an online platform designed to provide a means for students to report bullying anonymously. Textline can be accessed through the Internet or mobile phones. Textline was first launched in May 2001 by Monica Rodriguez. The website was created as a result of her personal experience with bullying because she had been harassed since grade schop. Her sister also suffered from constant harassment because she was overweight.

Integration of SMS Alert and Textline

The integration of SMS Alert and Textline will enable schops to provide better services for students to ensure safer schops through the use of the two software. The schops can use the integrated software to conduct emergency drills and apply emergency procedures in case of an emergency. They can also use the software to notify parents about emergency situations at the schops since the parents are usually notified via phone calls. By incorporating SMS Alert and Textline, schops can save time and money because they do not need to make phone calls often to inform parents about emergency situations at the schops. This way, parents are more likely to be informed immediately about emergencies taking place at the schop. Another benefit of integrating SMS Alert and Textline is that the parents are likely to be more trusting of the schop since they are assured that their children are safe.

Benefits of Integration of SMS Alert and Textline

Integration of SMS Alert and Textline will benefit students in many ways. First, it allows students to stay updated with their friends via text messages during emergency situations so that they do not need to worry about what is happening at their schop. Thus, it allows them to focus on helping themselves during emergency situations. Second, it allows teachers to send out text messages quickly to students’ cellphones without having to call each student individually. As a result, students are able to respond quickly because they are informed about what is currently happening at their schop fast.
