Integration of Skype for Business and Evernote

Skype for Business and Evernote can be integrated in the fplowing ways:

  • Importing Evernote notes into OneNote in Skype for Business. It is possible to import Evernote notes into OneNote in Skype for Business. For this, you must use the Office 365 app launcher and search for the Microsoft Sway add-in. You can then launch it and select Evernote (if it shows up. and then connect your account. Then, click to open the Evernote library and create a new note. After that, you can drag and drop files from your desktop to the note and they will be automatically uploaded to your Evernote account.
  • Creating a PowerPoint deck in OneNote and sending it to people in an email. OneNote has a built-in PowerPoint export feature, which can be used to create slide decks by simply writing notes on pages. After the deck is created, you can email it to people. When they open the deck, they can see your notes along with their slides. You can also insert pictures directly into the deck. This is very useful if you are leading a meeting using Skype for Business Online.
  • Sharing of notes between users of Skype for Business and Evernote accounts. When two users share notes, Skype for Business will send email notifications to both users whenever one of them creates or edits a note.
  • Inserting photos into notes in Skype for Business. Using the Skype for Business client, you can directly insert photos into notes by selecting ‘Insert File’ from the ribbon menu. This makes it easy to include images of meeting room whiteboards or photos of sales leads taken at networking events. You can also insert photos directly into PowerPoint decks created in OneNote using the above mentioned method.
  • Using applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., on mobile devices. If you have access to Office 365 apps on your mobile device, then you can view and edit OneNote pages that contain PowerPoint slides or Word documents. You can also edit Excel spreadsheets on your mobile device by viewing them in the Excel app on your iPhone or Android phone. The PowerPoint app allows users to view OneNote pages that contain PowerPoint slides.
