Siteleaf is a website builder which enables you to design and develop your website by just drag-and-dropping images, text and files. It is more than a website builder because it also comes with a built-in content management system (CMS. which allows you to edit the content of your site from anywhere.
Evernote is a note taking app. It allows you to create and organize notes. You can create different notebooks to manage your notes. It also comes with a built-in web clipper which allows you to clip any web page and save it as a note. The best feature of Evernote is that it is cross-platform.
Siteleaf integrates with Evernote. It has a built-in Content Management System (CMS. that allows you to edit your website’s content from within Siteleaf. So if you want to add or edit something on your site, all you need to do is login to Siteleaf and do it. No need to remember where you have uploaded your file or where you have saved your text.
The CMS can be used in different ways. For example, in one of my projects, I designed an online blog which had news articles, photos and videos. As you can see in the diagram below, I used Siteleaf’s CMS to create three different categories for each of the 3 types. If there were more than 3 types of content, then I will use subcategories to organize them better. For example, I would create subcategories under “Articles” such as “Sports”, “Entertainment”, “Life Tips” and so on.
I created different pages for each category. For example, if the category is “Articles”, the page may be named “Articles”. This page will then display all the articles in that category. When I create a new article, I will write the title of the article in its respective text box. Then I will click “Create” button which will create a new article and will automatically be saved into its respective fpder. The fpder can be accessed directly by clicking on “Fpder” tab at the top of the screen.
I also used Siteleaf’s CMS to create new pages for each of the 2 types of media in the site. I used the same category structure but added subcategories under each category to separate the media files into different types. In this case, I created subcategories under “Articles” such as “Newspaper”, “Magazine” and so on.
The interface for creating new pages is very easy to use and intuitive. All you need to do is choose the category you want your page to be under and then enter the name of the page. If you want to add a new subcategory, all you have to do is click on “Add subcategory” button which creates a new section under the current one and allows you to create a new subcategory under it.
This video shows you how easy it is to create a new page in Siteleaf:
Siteleaf also has a mobile app which allows you to access your website from wherever you are – whether you are at home, at work or even when you are away from home. The app allows you to add and edit your content from your phone or your tablet.
The app makes it easy for me to add new content whenever I want to update my blog or make changes to my existing content. I can add photos from my phone by uploading them directly from my camera rpl or from my camera. I can add videos from my phone as well as from any other device which can be connected via WiFi or Bluetooth connection. The only limitation of using content from mobile devices is that they cannot be larger than 4 GB so they don’t allow me to add long videos through my phone or tablet. That’s why I always use Evernote web clipper when I have to clip longer videos and upload them later through my laptop or desktop computer using Siteleaf’s CMS. The video below will show you how easy it is to use Siteleaf’s mobile app:
The best thing about Evernote integration is that I don’t have to install any additional application or plugin for Siteleaf to work with Evernote because it already has built-in support for Evernote out-of-the-box. All I need is to sign up for both Siteleaf and Evernote accounts and link both together using their respective apps/plugins and everything else will work automatically behind the scenes without any further effort from my part as shown in the diagram below:
To integrate Siteleaf with Evernote, all I have to do is go through their website and install two applications – Evernote Web Clipper for Siteleaf and Siteleaf Plugin for Evernote (as shown in the diagram above. Once these two applications are installed, they will create a direct link between Siteleaf and Evernote which means that anything that is stored on Evernote can be easily imported into Siteleaf automatically and vice versa. There is no need for me to copy-paste anything manually because everything happens automatically behind the scenes which makes it almost effortless!
When I add photos or videos into Evernote using Evernote Web Clipper or anything else that needs my attention, they will appear as tasks under ‘In Progress’ list in Siteleaf as shown in the diagram below:
This allows me to be able to instantly see what needs my attention and what doesn’t – so I can either focus on the things that need immediate attention or continue working on something else first before going back later to complete them whenever I feel like doing so! It also helps me keep track of everything since everything gets arranged automatically into different lists just like how it should be done! Here is another diagram which shows how everything works together:
What’s great about being able to integrate two different applications such as Evernote and Siteleaf is that it encourages me to do more things instead of trying not doing anything! For example, if I am reading an article in Evernote while watching a video on YouTube at the same time using Chrome browser, then I will bookmark my place in Evernote using Evernote Web Clipper and proceed to watch the rest of the video using YouTube without losing my place! Then when I am done watching the video, I will go back into Evernote and resume reading! In this way, instead of having multiple tabs open in different browsers, I only have one tab open – either Evernote in this case or I might just have YouTube tab opened if I am watching a video through YouTube! Either way, it saves me time because I don’t have to keep navigating between different windows anymore! This way, I can spend less time switching between tabs and more time focusing on getting things done instead! This is especially important if you are working on multiple projects at once like myself because there are always times when I get distracted by something else (which usually takes a lot of time!. but this way, I can stay focused on what matters most knowing that once I start doing something else, I will still be able to pick up where I left off without losing anything! And that’s why integrating Siteleaf with Evernote works for me!
In conclusion, integrating Siteleaf with Evernote is one of my favorite productivity tricks because it allows me to stay focused on what matters most without losing sight of what else needs my attention!
