  • Simplesat is an online top for tracking time and it is compatible with TimeCamp. It is a web based application, which means it runs in the Internet browser and the data is stored on remote servers. The data may be accessed from any Internet connection and from any computer.

  • TimeCamp is a time tracking, project management and invoicing top, which is cloud based. It allows tracking of projects, tasks, time spent on projects and invoicing. TimeCamp offers two main ways of tracking time:

    TimeCamp Desktop Application – It is a desktop application that tracks time while working on the computer. Time tracking may be paused or stopped at any moment. TimeCamp Web Service – It allows tracking time while working offline, by sending XML files to the server when working off line. TimeCamp web service also supports automatic recording of time worked by sending automatic XML files.

  • Integration of simplesat and TimeCamp
  • The integration of simplesat and TimeCamp takes place through Web Service API. This integration allows using simplesat’s “simplesat” time sheet format in TimeCamp. It can then be used to track time by various employees or projects that are being managed by TimeCamp. The integration enables the use of TimeCamp’s expense reporting feature, which shows expenses automatically by employees working for projects that are being managed by TimeCamp. The integration does not limit the number of employees that can use simplesat at the same time, but simply adds all their activities to one project in TimeCamp. This makes it easier to manage projects because you only manage one project in TimeCamp. Employees working for this project will see their activities in OneTime (simplesat’s task manager. All other employees will see their activities in their own tasks lists.
