Integration of Shopify and Snapchat

Shopify

Shopify is a Canadian based e-commerce business headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. Shopify was founded by Tobias Lütke, Daniel Weinand, and Scott Lake in 2004. The company develops online commerce platforms that allows small to medium sized businesses to sell their products. It provides the platform for merchants to build their own online store with various tops such as themes, website templates, products and shipping capabilities. The company has a global presence and has customers all over the world. Shopify serves more than 500,000 merchants with plans to serve one million by the end of 2017. (“About Shopify.” 2016)

Snapchat

Snapchat is an image messaging and multimedia mobile application created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown, former students at Stanford University. They developed the app as a way to communicate with friends through images. Snapchat was released on September 2011 for iOS and Android devices. In 2013, the application had 100 million users sending 400 million snaps per day, which increased to 350 million per day in 2016. (“About Snapchat.” 2016)

Integration of Shopify and Snapchat

Integrating Shopify and Snapchat allows customers to connect with brands through videos and photos taken and posted on Snapchat. Brands can create their own users on Snapchat and post photos or videos through there. Customers are able to see real time updates directly from the brand they are interested in. This form of marketing allows customers to feel more personal connected with the brand they are buying from. Customers feel an emotional connection with the brand because they feel like they have a relationship with them because they are seeing them through video or pictures through Snapchat. By allowing customers to interact directly with the brand, customers feel more engaged instead of just watching advertisement or other types of marketing material. This way of marketing through Shopify and Snapchat work best for companies that sell clothing, accessories, jewelry and other personal accessories because the customer would be able to see the product in action before purchasing it. For example, if a customer comes across a pair of boots on Shopify, they can view it on Snapchat before making a purchase decision. A customer would not have to wait for their order to arrive to see what they are getting, they can just take a quick picture or video of it on Snapchat. If a customer is not interested in the product anymore after viewing it on Snapchat, then they won’t buy it when it arrives to their doorstep. This form of marketing also helps keep customers informed about what is going on with the company by posting photos or videos every now and then. Customers would be able to see what is new about the company and maybe even get a sneak peak of what is coming up next for the company. In addition, this method of marketing could be used for any size of business depending on how much they use Snapchat or how big their business is. If a business has a massive amount of merchandise or products, then they might use both Shopify and Snapchat together because they can show off all of their products on both platforms. If there are only a few items that a business sells, then they only need to use one platform because they don’t need to show off too many products at once. For example, if a business only sells six shirts, then they would only use Shopify so that customers can see what each shirt looks like instead of showing off all six products in one photo or video on Snapchat. Overall, integrating Shopify and Snapchat works best for small businesses because it helps customers become more engaged with the brand and feel more connected with them through the use of photos and videos.

Benefits of Integration of Shopify and Snapchat

There are many benefits for businesses to integrate Shopify and Snapchat together in their marketing strategies. First, connecting with customers on social media platforms can help increase customer engagement through video or pictures posted on Snapchat. Second, allowing customers to interact directly with brands through social media platforms such as Snapchat helps businesses build relationships with their customers. Third, integrating Shopify and Snapchat together helps businesses reach a wider audience than just their social media fplowers. Finally, since integrating Shopify and Snapchat together costs less than some traditional marketing methods such as television advertisements or print ads, it would be more affordable for most businesses especially small businesses who do not have large budgets for marketing purposes. First, connecting with customers on social media platforms can help increase customer engagement through video or pictures posted on Snapchat. Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms used by brands today because it connects them with millions of consumers around the world in one place without having to travel around together physically. There are many benefits of using Instagram for businesses such as people are more likely to buy products after seeing them on Instagram because Instagram is similar to shopping catalogs where people can make mental notes about certain products that interest them later on when looking for something else to buy. Another benefit is that Instagram is free for most businesses whereas Facebook will cost money if you want your posts to show up higher in search engines. Facebook is another popular social media platform used by brands today because it has over 1 billion active monthly users which makes it easier for marketers to communicate with their customers through text posts or photos/videos shared on Facebook as well as target their audience by age group or gender if needed. Facebook is quite similar to Instagram except there are also some disadvantages such as Facebook ads can get expensive depending on how much you want your posts seen by others or how much you want viewers to engage with your posts such as liking your post or commenting on it but the good news is there are other ways besides ads that you can get your posts seen by others such as making sure that your profile picture appears in searches so that people who are searching for your business will see your profile first instead of someone else’s profile who may be using your name or business name but you can fix this issue easily by checking every now and then if anyone else is using your business name as their profile name so you can report them so Facebook will remove them from appearing in search results under your business name if needed. Another disadvantage about Facebook is that businesses will have to pay for advertising if they want their posts to get seen by more people depending on the type of ad you choose like video ads versus photo ads versus text ads etc… but overall, Facebook is still one of the most popular social media platforms out there used by brands today for marketing purposes but keep in mind that if you plan on posting videos on Facebook you will have to pay more money than if you were posting pictures only depending on how many views your video gets unless you are paying per impression which means that you pay every time the video shows up whether someone clicks on it or not but again if you want your videos shown higher up in search results you will have to pay extra money depending on how high up you want your video to show up versus low down in search results meaning that there are fewer viewers viewing your video but again this depends on what type of ad you want to run whether it be a photo ad versus a text ad etc.. Another great advantage about using Twitter is that it is easy to use even though it might seem difficult at first trying to figure out how everything works but once you get the hang of things it becomes much easier plus one advantage about twitter is that you can easily share content from other websites onto Twitter which means that you can link back and forth from websites onto Twitter which makes it easier for viewers to find out more information about your content or whatever else you may be sharing if needed which might include links from YouTube videos where you can direct people towards a YouTube channel instead of linking them directly towards another website like Pinterest might which has no real point since Pinterest is basically useless unless you are selling artwork or crafts so linking people towards Pinterest might not be so helpful unless you are selling art or crafts etc.. Another good advantage about using Pinterest is that it helps promote your website as well as your products especially if you have an e-commerce website where people can buy items from from directly from Pinterest instead of having them go through an entire website just to find what they are looking for which wastes time for users because they would have already found what they were looking for just by going directly towards the pin which will lead them towards whatever item they are looking for meaning that if someone sees an item that interests them then knowing exactly where they can buy it will help save time for both buyers and sellers but otherwise Pinterest should not be used as a main advertising top unless you have a lot of fplowers and fplowers means having an e-commerce website where people can buy items directly from Pinterest although there are some e-commerce websites out there such as Amazon that also allow people to buy items directly from Pinterest which sounds good at first until something goes wrong like someone buys an item only to receive it broken or defective so always make
