Recently, there has been a significant integration of Shopify and macOS Calendar software for synchronizing personal calendars between Apple devices such as MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, etc., and Shopify stores. In this section, we will review the benefits of integrating Shopify with macOS Calendar software to personalize iOS calendar app with business events from your Shopify store. Let us look at how this integration works in detail:
Step 1. Create a subscription link for your calendar feed. To integrate your Shopify store with your iCal calendar, you first need to create a subscription link for a calendar feed from your Shopify account in Safari or any other web browser. https://www.myshopifystorename.myshopify.com/admin/services/caas/subscribe Note. You may need to log in with your username and password in the address bar if you have not logged in yet for the first time after creating your web account for your store. Step 2. Copy the subscription link. After creating a subscription link, copy it to a text editor such as TextEdit or Notepad because you will need it in Step 3 later on. Step 3. Open Calendar app in macOS. After copying the subscription link from Step 2, open Calendar app in macOS using Finder or Spotlight search engine (a quick way to do this without opening Finder. click Command + Space key on your keyboard then type “calendar” without quotes. Then fplow the steps below to subscribe your calendar to the URL from Step 1. Click File menu > New Calendar Subscription… A pop-up window appears with iTunes Store logo on the top left corner Click Subscribe… Enter the subscription URL you copied from Step 2 into the popup window Click Subscribe… Your calendar will now be listed under Calendars Choose the calendar you want to subscribe Click Done Repeat Steps 1 to 6 if you want to connect multiple calendars with different subscription URLs Step 4. Sync your personal calendar with your Shopify store. Now that you have subscribed your personal calendar with your Shopify store, it is time to sync it on your laptop or desktop computer or even iPhone/iPad etc with your macOS Calendar app without having to log in to your store every time you want to see recent activity from sales or customers. To do this, simply go back to File menu > New Calendar Subscription… (the same place where you set up step 3. When you enter your subscription URL into the pop-up box and click Subscribe… , you will be able to see your personal calendar appear under Calendars . That means your personal calendar has successfully synced with your Shopify store! That’s it! You are now ready to start using your personal calendar app with your Shopify store! Step 5. Integrate other apps with Calendar app Now that you have synced your personal calendar with your Shopify store (in step 4), it would be nice if you could sync all other calendars such as birthday calendars or project calendars with it too so that you can organize them together from one place! To do this, simply repeat steps 1-4 above but choose another subscription link from another service provider (other than your Shopify store. instead of choosing one from your shop like this. https://www.mybirthdaysiteURLorcompanyprofileURLhere/admin/services/caas/subscribe Note. In this example I am using my birth day calendar as an example URL but you can use any other site such as Microsoft Office 365 , Google Calendar etc which provide subscription links for its calendars for synchronization purposes Step 6. See all calendars together! That’s it! You have now successfully synced all of your calendars into one place! Now you can easily access all of them from any Apple device (iPhone/iPad/MacBook etc. without having to log into each individual service provider site! Step 7. Enjoy! With all these great features at hand, you now have more time for yourself instead of spending hours managing events in different calendars! You can now enjoy staying organized by syncing all calendars together via macOS Calendar App! Conclusion The integration of Shopify and macOS Calendar software is definitely a step forward for both companies since users now have no reason why they should choose Google Calendar over Apple Calendar or Outlook over Apple Calendar because they can now sync all calendars together via macOS Calendar App! This integration also helps users focus on their work rather than having to login into many different sites just to see what activities they have recently done for work or personal matters etc.. Overall, this integration really gives benefit to both companies and users because users get a better experience working with their own calendars since they don’t have to login into different sites just to see everything they have done over the past few days while shop owners get more customers who may buy their products or services more often after seeing product promotions on their personal calendar!
