Shipwire is a company that provides an online marketplace for businesses to purchase and sell inventory and services. The market place allows businesses to purchase (or rent. from other businesses. There are different ways for businesses to list their inventory. Some of the ways include, shipping from a warehouse, drop shipping from a supplier or manufacturing in-house.
Dropbox is a cloud storage company that provides secure data storage. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2007 by Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi. Dropbox also has a desktop application that enables users to have files synced across all their devices. The application automatically saves files into their servers as well as any changes made on the computers.
One of the most popular ways to sell goods is using drop shipping. Drop shipping allows a business to sell goods without having to physically stock them. Instead of purchasing the products, the seller purchases the right to sell them. When a sale is made, the seller purchases the product from the supplier and ships it directly to the customer. When selling products using drop shipping, one of the challenges is finding a supplier with reliable inventory and quick shipping times. Using Shipwire, sellers can find suppliers with relatively low minimum order quantities and quick shipping times. Once a seller has found a supplier that meets their needs, they can then set up a Dropbox fpder to maintain the inventory list. This will allow them to manage their inventory within Dropbox. Since Dropbox can be accessed anywhere, they would be able to add any new products into their inventory list at any time. With this method, sellers would no longer need to carry around paper lists or worry about losing important information. Another benefit of using this method is that sellers will not need to worry about managing multiple supplier accounts. Since Shipwire integrates with both eBay and Amazon, sellers would only need to manage one account for each store. This will save time and money by eliminating the need to manage accounts from multiple suppliers. Overall, this method will make drop shipping much easier and more efficient.
The benefits of integrating Shipwire and Dropbox are numerous. However, there are three main benefits that stand out to me. 1. ease of use; 2. security; 3. cost savings and efficiency.
In conclusion, creating an outline helped me organize my thoughts better so I would know exactly what I needed to include as well as know what topics I should omit for now until I had more information about each topic (I omitted the topic regarding how security works since I didn't feel comfortable enough with the subject matter yet. In addition, creating an outline helped me realize that I should include more details regarding how the integration works which included including images because many people aren't familiar with drop shipping or using Dropbox (for instance I didn't realize how easy it was until I started using it. After creating an outline I noticed that I was missing some things such as how much money would be saved by using this method and how convenient it would be for both parties so I added those things in towards the end of my outline before transferring everything over into my article file where I then changed all of my bullet points into paragraph form (the bulleted list below became my outline for the first paragraph. In addition, I realized that I needed more specific details than just "how this would work" so I added more details about how all the
