The inventory data in Zendesk Sell will be updated automatically when an order is created in ShipRocket. This feature is available only in the Enterprise version of ShipRocket. With inventory data synchronization, any changes made in Shopify inventory will automatically flow to Zendesk Sell. The sync has two settings, one is ‘realtime’ and another is ‘hourly’. With the realtime sync, the changes are immediately reflected in Zendesk Sell after changing the inventory in Shopify. With the hourly sync, the changes are synced at an interval of 1 hour.

Order processing configuration between ShipRocket and Zendesk Sell is helpful in generating orders automatically in Zendesk Sell when they are placed in ShipRocket. If you want to enable order processing, you need to configure ShipRocket to forward orders to Zendesk Sell when they are created in ShipRocket. When an order is processed in ShipRocket, it generates an email notification for the customer which contains all the information regarding shipment and tracking details. When an order is created in ShipRocket, it sends a notification email to the customer which includes shipment details and tracking numbers. Customers can also check the status of their orders through their customer portal accounts in Zendesk Sell.

Customer data synchronization between Shopify and Zendesk Sell ensures that the customers are able to access their account information in Zendesk Sell if they have registered on your website or Facebook page using their e-mail address or phone number. Customer data synchronization also helps you to avoid double entry of customer details for sales and support purposes. This feature can be enabled via either API or dashboard configuration. Once enabled, it will automatically sync the contact details of any new customers that have registered on your website or Facebook page with their e-mail or phone numbers.
