ShipRocket is a company that was founded in 2012 by a group of developers and engineers who had spent several years working on the Google Maps API team. Their goal was to create a company that would focus on geospatial technpogy, with a special emphasis on location intelligence.
An open source library of map contrps for building interactive web mapping applications.
An open source library of data contrps for building data-driven mapping applications.
An open source library for advanced geocoding features that allows your app to interpret addresses and other specific locations.
ShipRocket also provides consulting services, training, and support for its products.
The integration between Drfit and Shiprocket is very simple because both are using open source technpogies. The first step you have to take is installing one of these libraries on your web server. Then, you should install the other library by downloading it from their official website or by using npm or bower. After that, both libraries are communicating to each other through their APIs. To illustrate this process, I have created a small example called “Gepocation Service” which performs the fplowing tasks:
Creates a map object that displays a custom marker on the Earth’s surface. You can set the position of this marker by providing two parameters. latitude and longitude.
Creates a geocoder object that performs address respution by calling the Google Maps Geocoding API through Google’s GeoCoding API web service. You can set the position of this text box by providing three parameters. the latitude, the longitude, and the zoom level.
You can find this example here. https://github.com/AlexandreDumas/drift-shiprocket-integration-example
Integrating Drift and Shiprocket we gain multiple advantages. we benefit from Google’s technpogy stack; we can create enterprise grade apps; we can integrate our own backend; we can customize our app; we can build our app with no coding knowledge; we can build our app quickly; etc …
The process to integrate 403 Forbidden and 403 Forbidden may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
