The content strategy for this project is very important because it will tell us what kind of content we should have on the website. I will use the marketing funnel model to determine our content strategy, which fits well with the product that we are creating. I would like to have customer journey maps, customer avatars, and competitive analysis in our Content Marketing section of the website. The goal of these three things is to get our customers to move through the funnel as quickly as possible. For example, if we provide a customer journey map on our website, it will make it easy for our customers to find value in our product by seeing how they can use our product to achieve their goals. The customer avatar would be a useful top for our customers because it tells them what type of person they are, which is useful when deciding whether or not they would want to use the product. Finally, the competitive analysis would help our customers decide whether or not they should use shippit based off of their needs. These three tops would be beneficial in moving customers through the marketing funnel.
The main function of shippit's user interface and user experience is to allow customers to create an account on the website and shop items that are available on the website. It is also important for shippit users to have a pleasing user experience on the website and be able to easily navigate through the website without any difficulties. For example, shippit users should be able to go from one page to another without any issues or confusion. These two aspects need to be considered when designing shippit's UI/UX.
I will be using InVision for this project because it helps me communicate my ideas and designs with other members of my team in order to get feedback and share ideas. InVision allows me to make interactive prototypes that I can use to show how the site would function and appear. This top is extremely useful for this project because I can take screenshots of each page on my website and then design them in InVision so that my teammates can provide me with feedback on my designs. I will also be using Sketch App to create my wireframes and design my website in Adobe Photoshop after I create my wireframes in Sketch App.
