Integration of Shipcloud and Office 365

Shipcloud?

Shipcloud is an app which is created and operated by a company called Shipcloud Limited. The company is located in the United Kingdom and focuses on creating innovative sputions for managing shipments and order fulfillment. Shipcloud has a large number of clients worldwide including many companies in the United States. Shipcloud was founded in June 2011 in London by three entrepreneurs who had previously worked together at another shipping software company. Shipcloud was initially launched as a mobile app and later expanded into a web based application that was able to be accessed from any device with Internet connectivity. Having a web based application allowed users to see all of their shipments and shipment status information from any computer or tablet at any time. In October 2015, Shipcloud extended its service offerings by adding online document management capabilities for its customers. This new feature allows users to save documents such as invoices and packing slips directly into Shipcloud and access them from anywhere.

Office 365?

Office 365 is a bundle of cloud-based software services that include applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Yammer and Skype. Office 365 is available from Microsoft and can be purchased for a monthly or yearly subscription fee. The term “Office 365” refers to both the suite of products as well as the online services that are required in order to use the products (for example, Microsoft Exchange Online. Office 365 also includes premium support options to ensure that business users have access to highly-skilled technical specialists who can help them get the most out of the product.

Integration of Shipcloud and Office 365

Many businesses use an email platform for communication between members of their staffs and with clients. These platforms allow group emails to be sent to multiple recipients at once, they allow files to be attached to emails, and they provide an interface for searching through previous correspondence. Email platforms also allow users to create fpders within their inboxes to organize messages that they have received. Many businesses also use email platforms for creating spreadsheets and documents that contain financial or other vital information.

Most businesses use an online document sharing platform in addition to using an email platform. An online document sharing platform allows documents to be shared with multiple people but does not provide the ability to attach files to those documents or search for past versions of those documents that have been shared previously. Online document sharing platforms also do not provide an interface for organizing documents into different fpders. Often times, businesses will use both email platforms and online document sharing platforms simultaneously to create a seamless experience for their employees and clients.

Shipcloud allows businesses to utilize an email platform, online document sharing platform, and a shipping platform all from one place. Every time a new shipment is prepared by a member of the business staff, it can be saved directly into Shipcloud via the email platform built into Shipcloud’s interface. Every time a new order is placed by a customer of the business, it can be saved directly into Shipcloud via the online document sharing platform built into Shipcloud’s interface. Every time a new shipment leaves the business location, it can be tracked directly within Shipcloud via the shipping platform built into Shipcloud’s interface. All of this activity can be viewed by every member of the staff so there is never any confusion about what needs to be done next or when something will be shipped out or how much money was paid for an order. Furthermore, all of this activity can be accessed at any time from any location because Shipcloud is accessible through the cloud. Because email platforms are used in tandem with Shipcloud, businesses do not need to worry about becoming overwhelmed with too much information. A company can simply integrate their existing email software (for example Google Apps. with Shipcloud and receive notifications each time new details about shipments and orders are entered. Every member of the staff can access Shipcloud at any time without having to download any software at all onto their computer or mobile device; everything is done through the browser. Businesses can also choose which software they want to integrate with Shipcloud (such as Microsoft Outlook or Gmail. so there are no limitations on what devices can be used to access the app or what email addresses can be associated with it.

Benefits of Integration of Shipcloud and Office 365

Businesses that choose to integrate Office 365 with Shipcloud benefit from having several features available in one place instead of using several platforms on their own. For example, if a business wanted to track packages on their own they would have no way of knowing which invoices were related to those deliveries unless they manually kept track of them themselves. Additionally, if that same business wanted to share information about packages with their customers they might be forced to send those customers links through their email platform which could lead to confusion if they didn’t know which package was being referenced. With Shipcloud, every invoice which is attached to a delivery shows up in the dashboard alongside every other relevant piece of information about that delivery so there are no questions about where certain documents came from or whether or not certain invoices are relevant to specific shipments. This saves time and removes confusion from the business staff’s day-to-day duties because they only need to enter data into one place instead of having to upload it into multiple places on different platforms. Furthermore, if a business wanted to create a spreadsheet of sales data they would either need to first export everything from their email system or copy and paste it into a new spreadsheet file in order to get the information they needed. With Shipcloud, all sales data can be entered directly into Shipcloud where it will automatically become available in a spreadsheet view where it can be easily analyzed by any member of the staff at any time. This saves time by eliminating the need for exporting data out of existing platforms and copying it into new ones; all information can be viewed directly inside Shipcloud where it will automatically update each time new shipments are made or new orders are received.
