Shipcloud and BulkGate are two of the most popular shipping software companies in the world. Shipcloud is a cloud-based shipping platform that can be used to track shipments, create labels, print labels, update pricing information, update tracking information, update invoice information, update customer profile information, etc. BulkGate is a bulk shipping spution that allows users to print labels for multiple orders on one page. Shipcloud also has integration with many of the most popular shipping carriers, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, Canada Post, Australia Post, Royal Mail, etc.
The integration of Shipcloud and BulkGate is very simple. All you need to do is make sure that your Shipcloud account is connected to your BulkGate account. You will then be able to print labels that have already been created in BulkGate. To set up this integration, go to the Shipping tab in the top right corner of Shipcloud. Click on Create new shipping plan, which will take you to the Shipping Plan Manager page. If you have not yet created a shipping plan, click on Create new shipping plan. If you have already created a shipping plan, click on the Plan name to edit it. Now select Print Labels > Settings at the top left of the page. On the next page, scrpl down until you see the section called “Label Printing”. Select the box next to “Print labels via BulkGate” and enter your BulkGate address (you can find your BulkGate address by clicking on Profile > Account Profile > View Details at the top right of the screen. Once you’ve entered your BulkGate address, scrpl down to the bottom of the page and click on Save Changes. Next go to the Profile tab at the top right of the screen and click on BulkGate at the top of the list. Once you are in your BulkGate account, go to the Shipping tab at the top right of your screen and click on Manage Plans under Shipping Settings. Once you are on the Manage Plans page, click on Add New Shipping Plan next to Shipcloud. When asked if you would like to connect your Shipping Plan with an existing Shipcloud account or create a new account for this Shipping Plan, select Connect existing account. Enter your Account email address and Password into the boxes that appear, then click on Create New Account. On the next screen you will be asked to enter your Shipping Plan ID number for this account. The Shipping Plan ID number can be found directly below your Shipping Plan Name on the main Shipping Plan Manager page under your shipcloud account.
Once you have entered your Shipping Plan ID number for this Shipping Plan, click on Save Changes. You will be taken back to the Manage Plans page where you will see a confirmation message above the Shipping Plan name stating that your plan was successfully linked to Shipcloud.
One benefit of integrating Shipcloud and BulkGate is that all shipping plans that were previously defined in BulkGate will now automatically be available in Shipcloud. This means that you don’t have to recreate any shipping plans if you want to use both platforms! Another benefit is that if a customer makes a purchase from your online store but does not provide their full shipping address upon checkout, Shipcloud will automatically pull their address from BulkGate so that you can create a label for them without having to manually enter their address information from scratch. Yet another benefit is that if a customer wants to have their package shipped through a different carrier than what is specified in their shipping plan, Shipcloud will let them change the carrier from within their Shipcloud account settings without having to call or email anyone about it. Another benefit is that if a customer changes their delivery address after they have placed their order, you can easily change their shipping address without having to contact them – just log into your Shipcloud account and click on Reassign Shipment under Actions next to their shipment in your Dashboard. The last benefit worth noting is that if a customer contacts you about a delay in shipping or tracking information, you can view those details instantly through your Shipcloud account without having to wait for an email response from someone else!
