Siteleaf is a content management system (CMS. that allows users to create and edit web pages using their phone, desktop computer, tablet, or laptop. Siteleaf utilizes Markdown language. More about Markdown can be found here . Siteleaf utilizes Git, GitHub, and Dropbox to work with contributors to the website. It uses the Git workflow to manage all of the changes made to the site. It also uses Dropbox to help move files between devices. Users can export the site to Wordpress or Jekyll. It also makes use of Markup formats like YAML or JSON. When exporting to Jekyll, the site will have a static website from which they can host from any hosting provider. Siteleaf provides a free account for those who sign up for an account.

The author of this tutorial recommends a few steps to take before connecting a site from Siteleaf to SharePoint. One of these steps is to make sure that the user has permission from the team site to connect it from Siteleaf. This can be done by going into the permissions section of the SharePoint team site and adding the Siteleaf user as a contributor to the site. This tutorial then explains how to connect a site from Siteleaf to a SharePoint team site by going into Siteleaf’s settings menu and clicking on the “Connect…” button. Then, a URL will be generated which corresponds with a unique code that will allow a user access to the site on the team site.
