    Integration of ServiceNow and HubSpot CRM

    ServiceNow provides different integration APIs that help integrate its functionalities with other applications. With the help of these API’s developers can develop applications to integrate ServiceNow with other applications with ease. Some of the APIs include REST API, SOAP API, and web hooks. The REST and SOAP API’s are used to integrate ServiceNow with other applications while the web hooks are used for sending events from ServiceNow to external applications.

    HubSpot CRM too provides various integration APIs that allow its functionalities to be integrated with other applications. In order to integrate HubSpot CRM with a third-party application, the integration API must first be installed on the HubSpot CRM server.   • HubSpot API . This API is used to access the data of HubSpot CRM using REST calls. It is used for integrating with third-party applications. The API supports synchronous and asynchronous calls. The ACL and Authz support that is offered by this API makes it highly scalable and secure. The API supports two main authentication mechanisms. provider-based authentication and OAuth2 authentication. Provider-based authentication requires third-party applications to connect to the HubSpot CRM server using the user credentials of the third-party application while OAuth2 authentication requires users to enter their credentials into the third-party application. The API also offers OAuth2 Token Access as a mechanism to allow third-party applications to access information in HubSpot CRM without having to provide user credentials every time.

It offers support for synchronous and asynchronous calls and uses OAuth2 authentication model for authenticating users who are accessing HubSpot CRM data from LinkedIn via this application. Users who want to access or update any data in HubSpot CRM via this application must first enter their LinkedIn credentials on this application after which they will be redirected back to LinkedIn where they will then be asked to grant permission to this application for accessing their LinkedIn account information and then if granted permission, they will be redirected back to this application once again where they can then continue working on accessing or updating any data in HubSpot CRM via this application. Once users have granted permission for this application to access their LinkedIn account information, they can then work on accessing or updating any data in HubSpot CRM via this application without being asked for permissions again until at least one of them decides to revoke permissions through LinkedIn by doing so they will no longer be able to access or update any data in HubSpot CRM via this application without reentering their LinkedIn credentials again.
