Gravity Forms is a free WordPress plugin that allows to build customized forms and web applications using the WordPress back-end. It is easy to use and highly configurable as it is built as a set of modules to extend as needed.

Integration of Sendinblue and Gravity Forms

In this part of the article, I am going to explain how Sendinblue and Gravity Forms can be integrated together. The first step is to install both plugins on a WordPress website. Once installed, a new menu called "SendinBlue" will appear under the Settings section of your WordPress admin page.

The next step is connecting your Sendinblue account to your WordPress website. For that, you have to enter your Sendinblue account credentials. In order to proceed, the fplowing requirements must be met:

Your site must be over SSL enabled which means that all pages on your site should start with https://www. Your website's URL must not contain any special characters such as . / % & ! @ # $ ^ * ( . { } | ? + = ~ and so on. All custom fields and fields from Gravity Forms must be encoded in UTF-8 format. For example. Name. John Doe Email. [email protected] Your Sendinblue account must be verified and Allow API access must be enabled. Please refer to this link for more information about account verification and API access. Your Sendinblue account must be configured as a "web service" type application. Please refer to this link for more information about account configuration. If you are using external services such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor, please disable them and make sure they are no longer sending emails to your recipients list. This is required because the integration only works with Sendinblue and not with external services such as Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor which creates double opt-in instead of single opt-in.

Once all the above requirements are met, you can proceed by clicking on the "Connect" button. If everything goes well, you will succeed in setting up the integration between Sendinblue and Gravity Forms. You can now start creating forms by adding Sendinblue fields into them. You can then send those forms via email campaigns directly from the WordPress dashboard without leaving the website environment. Let's take an example of how it works. Imagine that you have created a form with Gravity Forms on your WordPress website to cplect information from your visitors during their registration process. You can then add one or several Sendinblue fields into that form to gather their email addresses upon submission. Upon receiving that form, Sendinblue will automatically create an email subscriber list for you based on the submitted data. Then, every time you want to send an email campaign using Sendinblue, you can do so by selecting the list of email subscribers previously created by Gravity Forms without having to leave the WordPress admin page.
