It provides a wide range of reliable, scalable email delivery services to over 200,000 customers worldwide. SendGrid has been acquired by Rackspace in 2014 and is now the email service provider for Rackspace Cloud Servers.

  • Zoho Invoice is an online invoicing application offered by the same company that offers other business applications like Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, etc. The main advantage of this invoicing application is that it is provided free of cost. It supports all the major payment gateways like PayPal, Authorize.net, etc.

    Integration of SendGrid and Zoho Invoice

    Integration between SendGrid and Zoho Invoice is very simple. You can integrate them using Zapier. This integration will allow you to import your SendGrid contacts directly into Zoho Invoice. Apart from this, you can also use your SendGrid data to create custom groups in Zoho Invoice. Here’s how to do it:

    Step 1. First of all, go to https://zapier.com/apps/integrations/zoho-invoice/ and click on ‘Sign up for Free’. (You need to sign up for Zapier to use it.)

    Step 2. Now, select the integration app that you want to integrate with Zapier. In our case, we are going to choose the ‘Zoho Invoice’ integration app. Here’s what you will see when you’ve selected the app:

    Step 3. Now, click on ‘+ Select Trigger App’. You will be asked to log in to the app that you have chosen earlier. Here’s what you will see when you have logged in:

    Step 4. Choose SendGrid from the ‘Select Trigger App’ drop-down menu. Then, enter your SendGrid API Key in the ‘API Key’ field. Finally, choose ‘Create Record’ under ‘Create action for this step’ to set up the trigger conditions for the integration app.

    Now, you will see a similar screen where you can enter your SendGrid API Credentials in the ‘Integration Settings’ field. Here’s what it looks like:

    Step 5. Now, choose ‘Save Changes’ to save these settings in Zapier. After that, choose ‘Continue To Step 2’ and then ‘Continue To Step 3’ again. Here’s what you will see when you do that:

    Step 6. Now, click on ‘+ Select Action App’ and then select ‘Zoho Invoice’ from the drop-down menu and log in using your credentials. Here’s what you will see:

    Step 7. Choose the contacts which you want to import into Zoho Invoice from SendGrid and click on ‘Save Changes’. Then, choose ‘Continue To Step 2’ and then ‘Continue To Step 3’ again. This is what you will see when you do that:

    Once you do that, zapier will finish mapping the contacts from SendGrid to Zoho Invoice. Now you can use these imported contacts directly in your invoices created in zoho invoice and also create custom groups for them using the data from SendGrid contacts.
