Simplesat is a web based system for managing email campaigns. It allows users to send out email campaigns at no cost with lots of flexibility.

Integration of SendGrid and simplesat

Users can integrate SendGrid and simplesat to make use of the fplowing features:

  • The ability to send email from from a list or from a list in a campaign.
  • Selecting an email domain for sending the message. Currently, SendGrid supports about 20 email domains such as SendGrid, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, etc.
  • Selecting server name and port to connect to your SendGrid account from a list. Also you can select the SSL/TLS setting for your connection.
  • Selecting language for the email template that is sent by simplesat. This is a useful feature when you want to send out messages in different languages.
  • Automatically increment the number of emails sent. For example, if you have scheduled to send 10,000 emails and you have set 4 to be sent every second, then simplesat will send out 4 emails every second.
  • Sending out email campaigns on multiple schedule dates. You can schedule your email campaigns in advance and simplesat will send them out accordingly. This is useful when you may want to hpd back some messages till certain time period. For example, you could hpd back all messages until next year and send them out at 00:00am on 1st January 2019.
  • Split testing of your messages across different audiences. This is another useful feature that allows you to split test your messages across different groups of audience by changing one line of code in your email template. For example, you may want to split test two different versions of your landing page using this feature. You can run one version of your landing page against 30% of your audience while running the other version against 70% of your audience. Once they have both been live for few days, you can then choose which version has performed better and switch over to it.
  • Sending testing emails to a small group before sending out the rest of them to your entire targeted audience. This is another useful feature that allows you to test how your emails look in different email clients without having to send them out to your entire targeted audience. Once you are happy with the look of your message in a particular email client or on a device, you can then schedule it to be sent out on a future date.
  • Preview your message before sending it out to your entire targeted audience using this feature. Some people prefer an pd schop approach where they first see what their message looks like in their email client before submitting it for sending to their audience. Using simplesat’s preview feature, they can easily do this by clicking on the preview button in the editor interface.
  • Integrating with Google Analytics so that you can track how many recipients open your message and click on any links within it. This will help you track whether your message has been effective enough to drive traffic back to your landing page or not. By tracking these metrics down over time, you should be able to improve upon your conversion rate over time by tweaking certain elements such as the copy of your message, etc.
  • Setting up an Autoresponder series via the integration with SendGrid. You can schedule autoresponders to be sent out at specified time intervals such as every month, after every ten times someone opens your message or after every week when someone clicks on a link inside it and so on. This is very useful for companies that want to communicate with their customers regularly via email such as providing them with monthly updates about new products or services that are available or upcoming events in your business calendar. This way, users will not have to remember to check their inbox for updates because they will receive them automatically via email at specified intervals from simplesat. This feature is also useful for companies that want to build a regular mailing list of prospects that they would like to market their products or services too in the future such as SEO training courses, online marketing software and so on. The only issue with this feature though is that once an autoresponder has been scheduled through simplesat, it will not be possible for users to edit the text in these messages unless they go into their SendGrid account directly and make changes there instead of doing it on simplesat’s platform itself.
