Integration of and Tableau

Introducing and Tableau:

Tableau is a data analytics software which is easy to use, interactive and can be used by a non-technical user as well. It gives you the ability to tell stories with data. is a software development company which digitizes business processes of clients who are based in the US and Canada. uses Tableau as its main top for implementing data from multiple sales channels in an efficient manner. is a software development company which uses Tableau as one of its main tops for integrating data from multiple sales channels into their applications. So, it’s basically an application which is customized for the needs of a client (say, a CRM. and they develop it using Tableau. They have other tops as well but they only focus on Tableau as a top because it’s very flexible and easy to use as compared to other tops. Since they are a young company, they haven’t been able to focus on research and development because their main focus is on their clients and giving them what they want. So, it’s not an open source company like Salesforce or some other companies. But, recently, they have released an open source top called Salesmate.js which is basically an analytical library that helps you integrate multiple sales channels into an application.

Tableau has been around since 2003 and was acquired by Microsoft in 2018 for $15 Billion. It’s an analytics software which can be used for business intelligence, data analytics, data visualization or reporting purposes. The founder of Tableau has worked at Microsoft before founding Tableau so he has experience in developing software that can be used by large enterprise organizations. So, unlike, Tableau is a software development company that has more experience in developing tops specifically for big enterprises like Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. But, now that has released an open source library called Salesmate.js, this may change when organizations start to use it because most of the companies that are using Tableau are big enterprises and don’t care about the open source aspect of the software itself but rather just want to get the job done in an efficient manner so they use tops like Tableau because big organizations use a lot of data and need to process it in a short period of time and without any errors.

Integration of and Tableau:

Since both and Tableau are providing similar services in terms of data analytics, there are benefits to integrating the two together. One benefit that organizations will enjoy is because both have similar functionalities, integration will take less time to develop than if there were no similarities. Also, since both are customizable according to the needs of the customer, there will not be any feature bloat because both will be working towards similar goals so there will not be any redundant features (for example, if both were working towards creating dashboards then there would be some overlap in features between both. Another benefit of integration would be because both are scalable and can be used by enterprise level organizations that need to process large amounts of data over a short period of time so integration will allow for the scalability of both products to increase exponentially and the product will become much better than it already is. There will also be some cross-selling opportunities between both companies since each company specializes in what they do but there are some overlaps in their services such as customer relationship management or customer service management so there might be some opportunities for to integrate some of their tops with Tableau or vice versa and increase sales through each other’s services. Since both companies are focused on large scale enterprise organizations, there should be no competition between the two since they have different target markets.

Benefits of Integration of and Tableau:

The main benefit of integration between and Tableau is that they have similar functionalities so once they are integrated together, organizations will get more bang for their buck than if they were to use just one service or even two services from different providers because there will be less work needed to get results from both services and organizations will save money by doing so. Another benefit is that integration will allow for increased scalability because if organizations decide to implement one product or multiple products from different providers then there will be increased performance issues due to increased load on the server infrastructure so integration will help alleviate this concern as well by allowing for increased scalability for the organization. Another benefit is that clients will get more satisfied with the product that was developed for them because instead of having two separate systems that work separately from each other, integrating them together means that they will work as one ecosystem which will make more sense to customers since it will give them more functionality than if they had separate products implemented separately instead of together into one system.

The process to integrate and Tableau may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
