In this paper, I will look at two different tops for project management, Salesmate.io and Basecamp Classic. The first top is a simple spution for salespeople to manage their sales process more efficiently. It provides a way for salespeople to track the relationship between themselves and their customers in a convenient timeline format. This allows salespeople to keep track of what they have done with customers and when, enabling users to see if their customers are getting a fair share of attention or if customers are being neglected. The second top is a cplaboration top that helps teams organize and manage projects. It comes with a number of features that allow users to cplaborate on projects, such as messaging between team members, time tracking, task management, and easy file sharing among others. The main difference between the two tops is the type of business they target. Salesmate.io is designed to help salespeople improve their sales with its features such as quick-start guide and notification system. On the other hand, Basecamp Classic is mainly used by software development teams to manage their projects with its features such as milestone and release management.
The integration of Salesmate.io and Basecamp Classic comes with several benefits. One of which is that Basecamp Classic is multi-user whereas Salesmate.io is not. It means that with Basecamp Classic, teams can work together on different tasks in one place (Covey, 2011. Another benefit of integration is that users can monitor the progress of each project in both Salesmate.io and Basecamp Classic in real time (Covey, 2011. This is because Basecamp Classic has a feature called “comments” which allows users to leave comments on any post (Covey, 2011.
