CloudTalk?

CloudTalk is a cloud-based video conferencing service that is run by Salesforce. It was launched in 2011. It allows users to chat in real time with cpleagues, customers or clients through webcams, microphones and speakers.

Integration of Salesforce and CloudTalk

The integration between Salesforce and CloudTalk has made it possible for both parties to cplaborate with each other in the easiest manner ever. CloudTalk was previously known as html based video conferencing system which can be accessed through browsers. With the integration of Salesforce and CloudTalk, users of both platforms can now communicate with each other in real time using video conferencing facilities provided by both platforms. They can share documents, read email messages and work with each other. Salesforce users can also log in to their Salesforce accounts directly through the CloudTalk interface without any difficulty. This application has been integrated with other apps such as Google Drive and Box.com. For example, if a user wants to open a file stored on Google Drive while using CloudTalk then he can do so without any problem because Google Drive has been integrated with the CloudTalk interface. In case a user wants to create a new document while using CloudTalk then he can do so by simply logging into his Google Drive account from within the CloudTalk interface itself. The same applies to Box.com as well. Users no longer have to go to the login page of the apps to get access to them. They can avail of all app services from within the CloudTalk interface itself without any problem. In order to get access to CloudTalk users have to go through a simple registration process which asks for their names, emails and password. Once they have registered successfully then they have to login using this information and access the platform by going to http://www.cloudtalk.com. If a user wants to log in to his Salesforce account from within the CloudTalk interface then he has to go to this link. https://salesforce-sandbox-2343966.cloudtalkapi.com/login/. This link will take you to the login page of your Salesforce account. After you have logged in successfully then you will be able to access your Salesforce accounts from within the CloudTalk interface itself. Moreover, you can choose which Salesforce applications you want to log in to directly from within the CloudTalk interface and which ones you want to access through the standard Salesforce login page. You can also log out of these applications whenever you want and log in again if necessary. However, accessing any file stored on Box.com or Google Drive from within the CloudTalk interface cannot be done directly but only through the standard login page of these apps since they have not been integrated with the CloudTalk interface.
