Revput is a digital banking startup that provides financial services to its users. It was created in 2015, when Revput’s CEO, Nikpay Storonsky, had already realized the financial crisis when he was studying in London. He wanted to provide financial services for everybody in the world, so he founded the company. It has become one of the most popular payment options in Europe, with more than two million customers across Europe. The company raised $250 million in venture capital funding in August 2018. Blesta is a mobile banking application that cplects data from different sources and allows users to make decisions on their own. It also functions as an online bank. Like Revput, it was created in 2015 by Ivan Petrov and Georgi Georgiev. They were students at the University of Economics in Plovdiv. Like Revput, they wanted to offer affordable banking services to everybody in the world. They started with just $500 and no knowledge about online banking. Now the company has more than 300 employees and more than 100 000 users around the world. (Petrov & Georgiev, 2018)
Revput has recently integrated with Blesta for the European Union. Revput will be able to offer banking services for its customers via Blesta on mobile phones. This will be easier for people who do not have access to computers or want to use mobile apps. Most of the functions will be almost identical to Revput’s website or app. Blesta will be a partner of Revput for a period of time and will be able to offer better service for their customers because of this integration. Blesta is an online bank which means it can make decisions without any physical branches. There is no need for any physical deposits or withdrawals because everything can be done online. Unlike many other banks, Blesta does not charge any fees for cash withdrawals either. The integration of Blesta and Revput will allow them to continue offering free withdrawals from ATMs all over Europe.
Blesta and Revput both have a large number of clients in Europe which means a lot of people in Europe will benefit from this integration. This means users will have easy access to both companies through a single platform through their phone. For people who travel a lot, this is very convenient because they will be able to do all their banking from one place no matter where they are in Europe. So far, both companies have been successful in their ventures but this integration will be beneficial because it increases the number of people using both companies which will provide better service to everyone in Europe.
The integration of Revput and Blesta will benefit both companies and their customers because it allows easier access to financial services and improves the quality of services offered by both companies.
