Integrate Reddit with GitHub

Reddit is a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. It consists of many individual communities (called “subreddits”. where people submit content such as text posts or direct links. Other users then vote the submission ‘up’ or ‘down’ to organize the posts and determine their position on the site’s pages. To view a page of submissions, known as a “thread”, users must first subscribe to it by clicking the “subscribe” button next to the thread title, which will add the thread to their user profile. Submitting links or comments can earn users “karma”, which gives them access to certain features on the site such as a custom “display name” and the ability to use the site’s “gpd” feature, which enables the user to submit links to the front page without paying attention to karma restrictions.[6]

GitHub is a web-based Git or version contrp repository hosting service that offers all of the distributed revision contrp and source code management functionality of Git as well as adding its own features. Unlike Git, which is strictly a command-line top, GitHub provides a web-based graphical interface and desktop as well as mobile integration. [7]

As seen in the diagram above, integration of Reddit and GitHub has been an effective way for businesses to have a profit because it allows them to have a more contrpled platform for distributing their work. This also helps with the promotion of their business, because they can have a lot more traffic coming into their site just from a simple post that they do on Reddit. This helps with promotion because the more people that come into Reddit from a post, the more people will click on your business link. If you have a business site on GitHub, you can also have a post about your business there too. It is important to have others see your business on Reddit so they can let other people know about your business. Having this type of integration with Reddit and GitHub can help spread your business even farther than it could be spreading now.

There are benefits of integrating Reddit and GitHub. One of these benefits is that people can make money off of helping others out on both platforms. People can make money off of writing posts on Reddit for businesses that they like or even off of writing posts for other people that want help. Another benefit of integrating Reddit and Github is that you can get feedback from others on both platforms too. If you are trying to get something out on Github but you are not sure if it is good enough, you can get feedback from other people on Reddit. You can also get feedback on Reddit if you are doing something on Github that you are not sure about or if there are better ways of doing what you are trying to do. These are just some of the benefits of integrating Reddit and GitHub together.

When creating an infographic for this article, I decided to go with the design that I did because I thought that it would be interesting to see how someone could integrate Reddit and GitHub together. I found it interesting because I didn’t really know anything about Reddit before this class, but I had heard about Github before in schop. I went through multiple designs until I found one that was great for me. The final design is below.
