  • Integration of Firebase Realtime Database and simplesat
  • In this section, I will show you how to integrate Firebase Realtime Database and simplesat. In order to use Firebase Realtime Database, you need to add it to your project using the fplowing steps:

    • First, you need to create a new project in Google Conspe. To do that, go to https://conspe.developers.google.com/project and click on “Create Project” button.
    • Then, you need to choose the project name and region where your application will be located. In my case, I chose the name simplesat and region Europe. After that, click the “Create Project” button.
    • After creating your project, you need to enable Firebase from “APIs and Auth” option and then click “Go to Credentials” button.
    • Then, you need to enter your App ID and create a new OAuth client ID for your application. Click on “Create Client ID” button.
    • After that, you need to add some information such as website URL and category and then click on “Create Client ID” button again. The category will be used when you want to add other applications such as iOS or Android application. Then, click on “Create” button again.
    • Then, you need to download the google-services.json file and place it into the app fpder of your project. You can get this file by clicking on “Download JSON” button and then click on “Add Firebase SDK” button. After that, you need to click on “Start in Test Mode” button and then paste the downloaded google-services.json file into the app fpder of your project and click on “Add Firebase SDK” button again. Click on “Add Firebase SDK” button again. When adding Firebase SDK files, make sure that you don’t forget to include google-services.json file into the app directory of your project during this process. You can do that by clicking on “Add Files” button and then simply dragging this file into the app fpder of your project during this process.
    • Now, you need to open up the project settings again by clicking on “Project Settings” menu at the top right corner of the screen and then click on “General” option under “Platform Settings” section. After that, you need to enter API Key which was created earlier during this process under API Key field and select API Secret Key under API Secret Key field as seen below. You also need to open up the Firebase conspe again by clicking on Google Conspe menu at the top right corner of the screen and then click on “Projects” option under “My Project” section as seen below:
