It has been designed to be easy to use and doesn’t require any training beforehand. The installation process takes only minutes and all you need is a computer and an internet connection.

Skype for Business

Skype for Business is also a cloud-based communication and cplaboration platform. It is used for cplaborating with other people in your organization and communicating with them via voice calls and instant messaging.

As mentioned previously, it can be used to integrate Skype for Business and QuickBooks Online and allow you to use them together. This will make the two applications easier to use by unifying them into one place.

Integration of QuickBooks Online and Skype for Business

Integration of QuickBooks Online and Skype for Business is very easy. You just need to add the QuickBooks Online account to Skype for Business and then use them both together.

To add the QuickBooks Online account to Skype for Business:

  • Go to the Meetings tab on the left side of the screen. Then click the New button in the middle of the screen and choose either Skype Meeting or OneNote Meeting.
  • Choose Skype for Business Basic or Skype Meeting Broadcast. Make sure that you select Basic version if you are using QuickBooks Online Enterprise. If you are using the basic version of this application, then select the Skype Meeting option instead. In order to create a meeting, you need to have a Skype for Business account. Using the Basic version will allow you to use this app without paying for a premium version. Before proceeding further, make sure that you have a valid user ID and password because the next step requires accessing the account. If you don’t have a Skype for Business account, you can sign up for one here.
  • Enter the details about the call, including when it should happen, what group it should be added to, who should participate in it and who should be invited. You can also add a custom message at the bottom of the page, which all participants will see when they join the call. Click Save when you are done filling out all of these details.
  • On the next page, click Invite People in order to invite other users to this meeting. You can do so by entering their email addresses or by searching for them in your contact list in Skype for Business. Once you have added everyone to this meeting, click Send Invitations in order to start this meeting as soon as possible. You can also choose to postpone it for later or send reminders about it from now on. You can also remove people from this meeting if you wish to do so. However, before doing so, make sure that you have removed everything from your agenda first. To skip this step, click Close at the bottom of the page instead.
  • After clicking Send Invitations, Skype will return you to your calendar where you will see a notification about the new event that was added. However, before joining this event, make sure that you have installed Adobe Flash Player on your computer, as this application is required in order for this meeting to work properly. If you don’t have Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer, then download it from here and install it on your computer first before proceeding further with this step. After installing Adobe Flash Player, open Firefox and go back to your Skype client again. If you have any problems downloading or installing Adobe Flash Player, contact Microsoft Support for help with these issues. Then double click the calendar entry so that you can join this event immediately. To do so, click Join this Meeting in order to start it as soon as possible. A window will appear on your screen asking whether you really want to join this event or not; click Yes if you agree to attend this meeting or No if you don’t want to do so right now after all. Wait until the event begins and all participants will see each other as soon as it starts. You can also send messages to other participants or communicate with them via voice calls during this event as well. However, remember that not everyone needs to be able to see someone else in order for both of them to be able to interact with each other on Skype for Business (for example. only some people can see each other while others cannot see anyone. Therefore, make sure that all participants can see each other before starting this event in order not to disrupt its flow later on during the meeting. After the meeting ends, its organizer will get a report about how many people joined it and who was participating in it as well as who took part in it without attending it right away (for example. some people joined it later on after it had already started. Users will also receive an email confirming their attendance at this event too. That’s how easy it is to integrate QuickBooks Online and Skype for Business!
