Qlik Sense is an Enterprise Business Intelligence top. It is a platform designed to help businesses make better decisions. It gives the user an interactive report, allowing them to ask questions that can be answered by visualizations of data. The data comes from different sources, but the user only needs to create one report to visualize different types of data.
Shipcloud has all the tops needed for a shipping business to run smoothly. It offers services such as shipment tracking, shipping carrier selection, shipping rates, tracking & tracing, ports & customs, carriers & freight forwarders, and more. It also offers many other features, including accounting, order management, commercial invoicing, e-commerce, and more.
In this section, I will discuss how Qlik Sense and Shipcloud work together. In order to use Shipcloud with Qlik Sense, all you have to do is sign up at Shipcloud’s website. By signing up at their website, you get a free trial for Qlik Sense and a free trial for Shipcloud. You also get a free demo account set up on both services. After signing up for Shipcloud and Qlik Sense, you can integrate them with each other easily.
Let’s say that you want to see all the shipments that you sent from your warehouse located in New York. You will need to click on the “Excel” button on the topbar of Shipcloud. In the search bar, you will type “New York” as your location. Click on the “Search Shipments” button to start searching for shipments from New York. Once you have found the shipments from New York you wish to view, you simply click on the “View Data” button and a new tab with a Qlik Sense app will be opened.
The Qlik Sense app will allow you to view all the shipments from New York that were found using the previous steps. The app will also allow you to drill down into specific shipments and view the details of the shipment such as weight, size of the package, contents, and more. If you want to visualize data such as weight or size of package over time, all you need to do is look at the timeline chart and see when those shipments were sent and what their weight and size were at those times. When more than one shipment was sent on the same day, they will appear on the same line on the timeline and can be viewed easily by looking at the numbers above each line on the timeline graph. If more than one shipment was sent on the same day, but not from the same place (i.e. multiple packages were sent from different locations), then those shipments will be listed as separate lines on the chart. The chart will show you how much each shipment weighed at different times and their sizes as well. They can be seen on the chart by looking at the bars on the chart and seeing what number it corresponds with on the horizontal axis.
There are many benefits of integrating Qlik Sense and Shipcloud with each other. Some of these benefits include using Shipcloud as a source for data in Qlik Sense without having to manually enter information into Qlik Sense every time it changes. Another benefit is being able to directly visualize data from Shipcloud inside Qlik Sense without having to export data from Shipcloud first before importing it into Qlik Sense or writing complicated formulas to perform calculations that could be done easier with visuals already made by Shipcloud. One last benefit is that Qlik Sense allows users to filter data based on their criteria rather than doing it one record at a time in Shipcloud through its app.
The process to integrate Qlik Sense and Shipcloud may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
