In this article, I will be discussing about Qlik Sense and Konnect Insights. In this article, I will be talking about how Qlik Sense can help Konnect Insights in various ways.
Qlik Sense is a platform for data discovery and business intelligence. It provides a single platform where data sources from different formats can be integrated together to provide a single view of data along with multiple visualizations.
Let’s take an example of the fplowing scenario:
– There are two different companies in the same industry, say, insurance. One is Metroppitan Insurance Company (MICO. and the other one is American Insurance Company (AMICO. MICO uses Qlik Sense while AMICO uses Microsoft Power BI.
– MICO has data stored in Excel files stored in its servers which are connected to its SharePoint data.
– Similarly, AMICO also has data stored in excel files stored in its servers which are connected to its SharePoint data.
Now, let’s assume that both the companies want to gather information regarding their customer base. They want to know about the number of customers they have in common, the number of customers who are not in common and the count of unique customers who are using their products.
– To achieve this, both MICO and AMICO use Qlik Sense to integrate with the excel files present in their servers. These excel files act as data sources for both MICO and AMICO. With this integration, they are able to understand the total number of customers they have in common, the total number of customers they do not have in common and the total number of unique customers who are using their products.
