Qlik Sense is a cloud based business intelligence application that provides users with interactive data visualization, ad hoc querying and analysis, and predictive modeling capabilities. It is a web-based application that can be accessed through any device such as a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. The server or cloud portion of the application can be hosted by Qlik or Google Cloud Platform (GCP. The Qlik Sense application can also be hosted by a third party such as IBM Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS. Qlik has over 50,000 customers and partners worldwide and has been recognized on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms since 2015.
Google Ads is a pay-per-click advertising platform offered by Google. It allows marketers to target customers based on their search intent. Marketers only pay when customers click on their ads. Ads are placed on Google’s search results pages, YouTube video page, Gmail, and on the Google Display Network. Google Ads is available in 190 countries and in 20 languages. It was introduced in 2000 as “AdWords”. In 2016, Google reported that Google Ads generated over $79 billion in revenue.
Qlik Sense can integrate with Google Ads to give users the ability to view, analyze, query, forecast, predict, optimize and report on their data within Qlik Sense. Integration with Google Ads gives the user the ability to create dashboards that tie into their AdWords campaigns to provide insights into how users are interacting with their ad campaigns. With Qlik Sense, users will have the ability to link to specific sales leads from their AdWords campaigns which allows them to see if their keywords are attracting sales leads who will convert into clients. Users can also track how often they are winning in the “Buyer’s Brain” game. This game allows users to see if they will win in the Buyer’s Brain game by seeing what percentage of these potential buyers click on their ad campaigns. Users will also be able to track what time of day is best to run certain AdWords campaigns which will allow them to determine whether it is better to run their campaigns during rush hour or in the early morning hours when people are more likely to be awake and using internet devices.
Users will benefit from this integration by being able to monitor performance of their AdWords campaign with metrics such as cost per conversion, return on investment, number of clicks, etc. This integration will also give users the ability to see if their keywords are attracting sales leads by looking at how many leads they are receiving per keyword. Users will also be able to monitor how long it takes for their potential customer to convert into actual customers by monitoring how long it takes for them to respond to their AdWords campaign. This integration will also give users the ability to see if they are winning in the “Buyer’s Brain” game. By integrating with Google Ads, users will have the ability to better understand what times of day work best for them to run their AdWords campaign. This integration will also save users a lot of time because they won’t have to log into two different applications to get data about their AdWords campaign and data from their Qlik Sense dashboard. For example, users won’t have to log into AdWords separately from Qlik Sense in order to see if they are winning in the “Buyer’s Brain” game. This integration will also give users real time data about their AdWords campaign. If a user has multiple AdWords campaigns then they will not have to go into each one individually in order view performance data because all of the data will be available to them within a single dashboard. Users will also not have to log into multiple applications in order to view data about the keywords that they are bidding on or what keywords other advertisers are bidding on because this data will be integrated right into their Qlik Sense application. This integration will also save users time by allowing them to track how many sales leads they receive from each keyword so they know which keywords work best for them. All of these benefits help users gain a deeper understanding of all aspects of their AdWords campaign which allows them to make smarter decisions when optimizing and analyzing their campaigns.
