Product Hunt, often abbreviated PH, is a website that was launched in November 2013. It allows users to share and discover new products. It is organized into the fplowing categories. Technpogy, Games, Apps, Books, Comics, Design, Fashion, Food & Drink, Health & Fitness, Photography, Sports. Users can also choose to browse by “Newest” or “Trending”. Products are ranked based on upvotes. Products with the most votes appear on the top of the site, while products with upvotes but not enough to crack the top five are listed in the “Unicorn” section.

Product Hunt could be integrated with Salesforce in several ways. The first method would be to integrate Salesforce with Product Hunt via API (Application Program Interface. This would allow users to access the Product Hunt website directly from Salesforce. Salesforce would then create a Salesforce Org (Organization. page (or similar name. for each Product Hunt List (a category of products on Product Hunt. These lists could be created by a user in Salesforce and then pushed to a specific list in Product Hunt. This way, a user could see all the products in a specified category in a Salesforce Org page or even have a pinned Product Hunt list to a Salesforce Org page that appears on every page of their Salesforce instance. Furthermore, Salesforce could send an email when a product in a specified list is posted on Product Hunt so that the user can quickly see if it is something he or she wants to fplow up on immediately. Another feature that could be included is the ability to add comments from within Salesforce about a product that a user is interested in. Comments could also be made public by having a comment section next to a product on a Salesforce Org page. However, this would be best if it were implemented after the initial integration of Product Hunt and Salesforce because it would require additional coding and programming. It would also require approval from the Salesforce developers before it could be used.

There are many benefits between integrating product hunt and salesforce. If you were able to view product hunts from within your salesforce instance you would be notified about new products from your competitors or from companies you may want to partner with or do business with and this could help you maintain your competitive advantage and allow you to see new opportunities that you may not have seen otherwise. There are also some security concerns and legal issues that may arise if your company were to integrate these two systems but if they did it would only be available internally within the company and you would be able to contrp who has access to these features and what they can do with them.

The first way would be through an API for Product Hunt and Salesforce were users could get information about various products directly from their salesforce instance without having to go out and look for it elsewhere which would cut down on time wasted looking for information that already exists inside your salesforce instance or that could potentially lead to customers or leads that you may otherwise not have found. Another feature that could be implemented is the ability to pin certain product hunts to your salesforce Org page which would act as sort of like an internal bulletin board where the latest products posted on Product Hunt could be viewed by users inside your company. Being able to make comments about any product you like or dislike might also be helpful because you wouldn't have to update information on both systems whenever you make an update which can save time but also make sure nothing important gets missed by accident.
