The phone numbers of each department can be displayed on the Call Queues page and on the Agent Dashboard; this provides agents with a quick way to know where they should transfer the caller. When an agent receives a call, they can select multiple Call Queues from the drop down menu in order to route the call to a specific department.
By combining PhoneBurner and BulkGate, users can easily configure different queues for incoming calls based on the caller’s number. Each queue can be assigned a call processing rule that determines how a particular caller will be handled. The rule can include criteria such as the caller’s country, the day or time of contact, or even the caller’s response to a prompt. Upon receiving an incoming call, an agent can select multiple queues from which to place the caller; this will allow agents to quickly handle calls from multiple departments.
