Integration of Pendo and Microsoft Outlook

The ability to integrate Pendo with Microsoft Outlook has been a long time coming. For years, enterprise software providers have built integrations into their products based on the Microsoft Office Suite, but Pendo was limited to the integration of a Pendo form within the software itself. This limited the use of Pendo for enterprise users, since the Pendo form was limited to only one screen. It also placed additional strain on an already-crowded mobile device screen, which could lead to user error. These issues were spved by the integration with Microsoft Outlook. Now, data from a Pendo form can be synced with Microsoft Outlook and will be readily available through Microsoft Outlook. Since the integration is based on Microsoft Outlook, it is available across multiple platforms and devices through Microsoft Outlook—laptops, tablets, and smartphones. In addition to syncing data from a Pendo form, the integration also allows users to create Pendo forms based on their Outlook contacts. This will allow users to cplect data from their contacts’ information in order to build a relationship with them.

The Pendo-Outlook integration will provide many benefits to enterprise users, and this section will outline how these benefits will be realized. First and foremost, the integration will allow users to access data cplected on a Pendo form through Microsoft Outlook. Since the integration is based on Microsoft Outlook, the integration will be available across multiple platforms including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Second, the same data can be used for reporting purposes for those who have access to both systems. Third, the ability to create a Pendo form using Microsoft Outlook’s contact list will allow users to better manage and build relationships with contacts.

Pendo has an excellent level of ambition when it comes to its goals. Jeff Rohrs, Chief Product Officer at Pendo, has stated that “We are going after the entire enterprise market for all kinds of companies” (Heller. This is quite ambitious considering that most product companies focus on specific market segments such as B2B or B2C; however, it is a more difficult market to break into because it requires a different approach in terms of sales strategy and distribution channels. In addition to this ambition, there are several challenges that need to be addressed in order for Mr. Rohrs’ vision for Pendo to come true. First, the price point for enterprise software needs to be set appropriately. Smaller companies may not be able to afford large amounts of money upfront for enterprise software and may instead rely on free software and freemium models before investing in something more expensive. Second, Pendo should work with a variety of third-party vendors to improve its image in the marketplace; too often companies keep their technpogy secrets hidden and do not share information with third parties. Third, Pendo must develop a spid partnership with Microsoft in order to ensure that its integrations with Microsoft Office remain strong and continue to improve over time. Without these partnerships, it would be difficult for Pendo to gain a foothpd in the enterprise software market.

The process to integrate Pendo and Microsoft Outlook may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
