Paypal is a payment method which is used by the customers to pay for their purchases. For people who do not have credit cards, they can also use Paypal to pay for their purchases. Paypal is an online system of payment which has different functions. The customer can use their account to pay for their purchases. The money will be directly added to the customer’s account and the transaction will be confirmed within 24 hours.

Paypal was founded in 1998 in California by two friends and brothers, Peter Thiel and Max Levchin. Since then, it has grown to become the largest online payment platform in the world. The company is now a subsidiary of Ebay. In 2004, Paypal was bought by Ebay and has been one of the main payment methods on Ebay ever since. It has more than 142 million active users with over 2 million business accounts which are registered on the platform. But this number does not include the inactive accounts.

Paypal was first used as a payment method on Ebay for the safety and security of the buyers and sellers. Initially, it was called something else ‘Xoom’ which stood for ‘e-payment’. In 2002 Paypal became the owner of Xoom. The name Paypal came about in 2000 from combining ‘pay’ and ‘e-mail’. It was officially launched in 2001 as ‘Paypal’. Paypal received $1 million from Sequoia Capital and its founders, Peter Thiel and Max Levchin. In October 2002, Paypal acquired the website mobile payment system, Moneyspire and renamed it as PayPal Mobile.

In 2003 equity funding in the amount of $10 million was made by venture capital firm, Benchmark Capital. In March 2003 Paypal moved into new headquarters in San Jose, California. In June 2003, Paypal acquired CyberCash, an online payment service provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia for $410 million in cash and stock.[2] In July of that year, it acquired Bill Me Later, an online payments service popular with consumers who did not have a credit card or bank account.[3]

In August 2003, it was announced that PayPal had acquired Fraud Sciences, a privately held Silicon Valley fraud prevention company specializing in behavioral biometric authentication technpogies.[4] In December 2004, eBay announced plans to spin-off PayPal into an independent company by mid-2005,[5] and formally executed this plan on July 20, 2005.[6] All of PayPal’s assets were transferred to its independent subsidiary company, PayPal Hpdings, Inc., which then began operating as an independent company on July 24, 2005.[7] On July 18, 2008 eBay Inc., previously known as eBay Enterprise Inc., split off from eBay Inc., effectively disspving it.[8][9]

On September 30, 2014 PayPal agreed to purchase Braintree for $800 million.[10] On February 19, 2015 PayPal acquired IronPearl, a Palo Alto startup offering engagement software for retailers.[11]

When these companies are integrated into each other’s company there will be a lot of benefits that are going to come out as a result of that integration. And these benefits will allow both customers and businesses to profit from this integration services that they are providing.

One of the benefits of the Integration of Paypal and Dropbox is that when these two companies are merged together they will provide a higher level of security for businesses because both companies offer different features that will make sure that every single transaction will be safe. These companies are going to offer a feature where they are going to make sure that every single transaction that businesses conduct will be secure so that no one can steal information without permission. They are also going to offer an extra layer of security for businesses so that they can make sure that no one is stealing any information without their knowledge. If someone tries to steal any kind of information without permission it will be detected immediately because these two companies give more security than any other companies that are competing with them. This benefit will be very important to businesses because it will improve their level of security so much that they will not have to worry about anything anymore because they will get their information back if anyone tries to steal it without permission. This is very beneficial for both customers and businesses because it improves their levels of security so much that they will not have to worry about anything anymore.

Dropbox also offers cloud storage facilities where you can store all your files on Dropbox so that you do not have to worry about storing your files anywhere else because all your files can be stored safely on Dropbox so that they do not get deleted or lost because they are protected by Dropbox’s security system which will make sure that no one is able to delete them or steal them without your permission.
