Patreon is a website which allows its users to create their own page where they can put content that will be accessible for their patrons. Patrons are people who support the creators by donating money to them in order to help them continue doing what they love the most. This could be as small as a dplar or a monthly subscription. The creators can make rewards for different donations, such as a free eBook, early previews, etc. (Patreon)
Netlify is a platform where you can publish and distribute websites. It provides you with a CDN to speed up your site, GitHub integration and high availability. It also has a free plan, which is amazing! (Netlify.
As I mentioned before, Patreon is a platform where creators can earn money that will help them continue doing what they love. Now, Netlify is an online publishing platform where you can publish and distribute your content. When you combine these two platforms, you can earn money from your work! You should try this out! It is so easy to use!
Let’s say that you are a creator and want to earn some cash from your work. First, you have to create a Patreon account on patreon.com. There you will see a button saying “Integrate with Netlify”. Click on it.
On the next page you will see a few options about the integration. Check the boxes, select your username and click on Next Step.
Now you need to copy the Token ID code and paste it into your Netlify settings page. In Netlify go to Settings > Build & deploy > Settings and paste the token there. Now when everything is set up, just click on Deploy. It will take a while, but after it is done you will have a working landing page that shows all of your posts from Patreon! This is how it looks like:
There are many benefits of integrating these platforms together. Firstly, it saves you time because you only have to make one integration, instead of making two separate ones. Secondly, it makes your content more attractive to your users because they can access it from one place. Thirdly, your users will be able to view your work in one place without having to go anywhere else. It is very convenient for them because they do not have to spend much time searching for anything on the web. Lastly, it increases engagement because your users will be able to access more content from one place than from different places. It is very important for the creator to engage their audience in order to increase revenue. (Patreon)
