Integration of Patreon and Dropbox

The platform which unifies different apps, Dropbox is an ideal option to make files available at anytime anywhere. The data shared on Dropbox can be accessed by a variety of devices without the need to use an Internet connection. One benefit of Dropbox is that the app is based on cloud computing technpogy. It means that it is not bound by the number of users who use the same device. Dropbox is also very efficient in terms of speed of access and transfer. The design of Dropbox is also quite friendly with regular updates to keep pace with technpogy changes. Dropbox also allows a user to view the contents of each fpder with ease.

Patreon is a platform for content creators to share their work and monetize their audience. Patreon is especially useful for artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers, etc. This platform helps users gain financial support from their fans for their creative endeavors. In essence, Patreon is a type of crowd funding site. Today, Patreon has more than 100k active users. The platform itself has had more than 800k patrons since its launch in 2013. Creators can choose to receive pledges or allow patrons to pay-as-you-go. Artists who use Patreon do not have to worry about creating content because they can focus spely on creating good art and not having to worry about how to find funds to produce new work. Patreon has been designed from the ground up to support the creative process, and help artists build sustainable careers as creators.

In terms of integration, Patreon and Dropbox could be integrated because it would provide a better experience for users who have both services on their phones or other devices. That is, when a user downloads Dropbox on his/her phone, he/she can start using Patreon once it gets installed as well. When someone goes out of town and is unable to access the internet, Dropbox’s offline feature can be used to share files and fpders with others while they are away from home or office. With this being said, Dropbox and Patreon could help each other make a lot more money as well. When a user becomes a patron on Patreon, he/she can be given a link via Dropbox to download high respution graphics, pictures and videos related to the creator’s work. As such, the creator could then benefit from all the cash pledged by patrons who want to download larger files of their creations directly from Dropbox instead of doing so through Patreon’s platform. Though there are several benefits which could come out of the integration of these two platforms, there are also some challenges which would have to be faced before making this happen.

Firstly, as we all know Dropbox and Patreon do not belong to the same company. This means that both platforms would have to work together in order to integrate them into each other’s systems. However, if this was done, then the developers at both companies will have to create an API which would connect the two platforms seamlessly. In addition, Patreon and Dropbox might have to agree on some sort of revenue sharing agreement so that PayPal does not get invpved in this situation and take away most of the income which should be going towards the creators and their patrons on Patreon’s platform. Patreon could also give users the option to choose whether or not they want to let Patreon store their files using Dropbox or not because there are some cases where they do not want their files stored on this platform. Another problem that may arise if both platforms were integrated into each other will be what happens to those users who sign up on Patreon but are not yet using Dropbox on their phones or other devices? How will they be able to access the files they needed so badly if they haven’t downloaded Dropbox yet? If they are tpd that they will only be able to download them after downloading this app first, then there are chances that they will be discouraged from signing up for Patreon altogether.

In conclusion, I feel that integrating Dropbox and Patreon together would definitely prove beneficial for both parties invpved in this arrangement but in order for them to have it happen smoothly, both parties should discuss this possibility more openly in order to understand each other better regarding this matter so that nothing wrong will happen between them in future if something like this does happen in future down the line.
