Integration of Patreon and AWeber

Patreon?

Patreon is a website that allows you to support creators for free. It is usually free to use, but there are some premium features you can buy. Patreon is a platform that allows users to pledge a certain amount of money each time a creator releases an artwork/video/post, so the creator is able to get paid automatically if they have enough patrons. Creators can set a monthly goal, and as long as they reach it by the end of the month, their patrons will be charged for that month. If they do not meet their monthly goal, they can still publish content to their patrons, but nothing will be charged. They also provide creators with graphs that show them how much is being pledged and how many patrons they have. Patreon is mostly used by people who create music (like myself), video games, art, etc.

AWeber?

AWeber is an email marketing service that allows users to send out newsletters and broadcast emails. It has many tops that allow users to segment their lists, test different content, and track open rates and click rates on links inside their newsletters. AWeber provides users with detailed analytics reports of how effective their newsletters have been for them. For example, AWeber will tell you how many clicks you got from your last newsletter or what your open rate was or whether you even got any clicks at all. AWeber is used by many bloggers and businesses because it has so many features and tops that allows them to track and analyze their email campaigns.

Integration of Patreon and AWeber

The first thing I want to talk about is the integration of Patreon and AWeber because this is one of the reasons I chose Patreon over other crowdfunding sites because I am already using AWeber for my blog, so I prefer it to integrate with AWeber instead of another email service like MailChimp. Integrating these two services together would be huge for me because it would allow me to manage all of my business in one place. It would cut down on my work load tremendously if I didn’t have to keep updating my blog and email list every week. So, I am going to list the pros and cons of integrating Patreon and AWeber:

Pros:

It would be convenient because there would only need to be one website to access everything instead of having two different websites.

It would make my life easier because I wouldn’t need to update anything else besides my blog posts and emails.

I could use AWeber’s built in email marketing features while using Patreon’s built in payments service.

Cons:

Patreon has no API (Application programming interface. which means it is impossible for me to automatically add people who sign up for my mailing list to subscribe to my Patreon page. This makes it harder for me to grow my mailing list.

There is no way for me to take advantage of Patreon’s built in analytics features unless I manually ask people to fill out a survey each time they sign up for my mailing list, which is not very efficient or effective.

Since there are no APIs (for now), I am unable to embed a subscription button into my website so people can sign up for my mailing list and my Patreon page all from the same site. This makes it hard for new visitors who aren’t familiar with Patreon and are only visiting my website for the first time because they won’t know how or where they can sign up for my mailing list or Patreon page.

Benefits of Integration of Patreon and AWeber

Now I am going to talk about the benefits I would get from integrating Patreon and AWeber together. The first benefit I listed above was convenience because it is much easier for someone who visits your website for the first time to sign up for both your mailing list and your Patreon page from the same site instead of having to go somewhere else and sign up for both platforms separately. The second benefit I listed above was efficiency because if someone signs up for both platforms on the same site, you don’t have to update two different places on the web which takes less time than updating two different places on the web. The third benefit I listed above was tracking effectiveness of my email marketing campaign because if people are signing up for both platforms on the same site, then I wouldn’t need to manually ask them questions about how effective my last newsletter was since AWeber has all of these built in features that allows me to do this automatically without any effort on my part. The fourth benefit I listed above was taking advantage of Patreon’s built in analytics features because since people are signing up for both platforms on the same site, then I could easily embed a subscription button into my website so visitors can sign up for both my mailing list and my Patreon account without having to search anywhere else on the web for this button. The fifth benefit I listed above was saving time because if someone wants to sign up for both platforms on the same site, then I don’t have to update two different places on the web which takes less time than updating two different places on the web because one platform gives you access to both your mailing list and your Patreon page while updating only one platform saves time because you don’t have to update two different places on the web. The sixth benefit I listed above was providing more information about yourself when someone signs up for both platforms at once because they have access to both platforms at once while signing up for both platforms at once gives them access to more information about yourself than if they were only signed up for one platform along with more information about you which helps build a stronger connection between you and your audience and gets them more interested in what you have to offer them in the future. The seventh benefit I listed above was having better retention rates with your mailing list because if someone signs up for both your mailing list and your Patreon page on the same site, then there is a higher chance they will stay subscribed longer than if they only signed up for one platform, especially if they are also posting content on your blog frequently which builds loyalty and keeps them engaged with you since they can see more content from you than if they were only signed up for one platform alone. The eight benefit I listed above was providing more information about yourself when someone signs up for both platforms at once because they have access to both platforms at once while signing up for both platforms at once gives them access to more information about yourself than if they were only signed up for one platform along with more information about you which helps build a stronger connection between you and your audience and gets them more interested in what you have to offer them in the future which makes it more likely that they will want to buy something from you in the future instead of just simply subscribing to your mailing list or donating money via your Patreon page. The ninth benefit I listed above was having better retention rates with your mailing list because if someone signs up for both your mailing list and your Patreon page on the same site, then there is a higher chance they will stay subscribed longer than if they only signed up for one platform, especially if they are also posting content on your blog frequently which builds loyalty and keeps them engaged with you since they can see more content from you than if they were only signed up for one platform alone. The tenth benefit I listed above was providing more information about yourself when someone signs up for both platforms at once because they have access to both platforms at once while signing up for both platforms at once gives them access to more information about yourself than if they were only signed up for one platform along with more information about you which helps build a stronger connection between you and your audience and gets them more interested in what you have to offer them in the future which makes it more likely that they will want to buy something from you in the future instead of just simply subscribing to your mailing list or donating money via your Patreon page.
