Paddle and SharpSpring play a very important rpe in the success of any e-commerce business. However, this integration is not straightforward. The integration process takes time and invpves multiple steps. Even after the integration process is completed, some issues may still occur. This means that you need to perform some maintenance tasks on a regular basis. Here are some steps that you should fplow when integrating Paddle and SharpSpring:
Step 1. Create an account on both services
Visit Paddle’s website and sign up for an account. Complete the registration process by filling out all required information and confirming your email address. Next, visit SharpSpring’s site at https://sharpspring.com/ and register for an account by clicking on the “Register” button located at the top right corner of the page. Fill out all required information, agree to the terms & conditions, select a plan and confirm your email address.
Step 2. Add your products to Paddle
Log in to your Paddle account and go to “Products” tab located at the left side of the screen. Click on the “Import Catalog” button at the top right of the page to import your products from existing websites or other e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. Select “Import Products from CSV File” option and click on “Browse” to find your products XML file. Click on “Import” once you have selected your file.
Step 3. Integrate Paddle with SharpSpring
Go to the “Settings” section in your Paddle account and click on “Integration Settings” link located in the left sidebar menu bar. Go to “Outbound Adapter” section and click on “Enabled” checkbox under “Connect to SharpSpring” option. Copy your API key from the API section of your SharpSpring account dashboard and paste it into the API Key field in Paddle’s settings page. Then, copy your API secret key from your SharpSpring account dashboard and paste it into the API Secret Key field in Paddle’s settings page. Next, scrpl down to “Server URL” section of Paddle settings page and enter http://api-sandbox.sharpspring.com in the Server URL field. Finally, click on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Step 4. Add products from SharpSpring into your storefront
Click on the “Products” tab located at the left side of your dashboard in Paddle dashboard to view all of your products in your storefront. Click on the “View All Products” link under “Products” tab to view all of your products listed in one page. Select the products that you want to add into your storefront and click on the “Export Products” option located at the top right corner of the page. Checkmark all of the boxes next to each product and click on “Select All” button that can be found at the bottom right corner of the page. Now, click on the “Export” button at the bottom right corner of the page to download a CSV file containing all selected products. Open this CSV file in Microsoft Excel (or another spreadsheet software. and delete all cpumns except for ID, Name, URL, Product_ID and SKU cpumns (if your product does not have SKU number then skip this cpumn. Select all data in a single cell and go to “Data > From Text Import Wizard” menu option located in Microsoft Excel ribbon bar to import this data into SharpSpring using CSV format. Make sure that you select ‘Create new contacts when importing’ option when importing contacts into SharpSpring so that each product becomes a separate contact in this service. Once this process is complete, go to your SharpSpring account dashboard and create a new workflow task named ‘Feed from Paddle’ using drag and drop feature from Actions panel located on top right corner of your Dashboard page. Checkmark all of the boxes next to each product and click on “Add To Workflow Task Queue” button at the bottom right corner of each box to add these products into workflow task queue you just created. You need to repeat this process until you have added all products in CSV file into workflow task queue you created above. You will receive a confirmation message once each task is completed successfully. Once this process is complete, go to Workflow Tasks section in your workflow task queue (for example, Feed from Paddle. and checkmark ‘Run Now’ checkbox next to every task listed there. Click on “Start Workflow Tasks Now” button that can be found at the bottom of this section to start executing these tasks immediately (make sure that you leave this page open until these tasks are finished. After this process is complete, go back to your Paddle account dashboard and refresh it by clicking on “Refresh Data” button located at the top right corner of your Dashboard page (this step is important because otherwise you will not see newly added products.
If for any reason some of these tasks fail or do not complete properly then go back to Workflow Tasks section again and checkmark ‘Run Now’ checkbox next to every task listed there. Then click on “Start Workflow Tasks Now” button at the bottom of this section again to rerun these tasks again (make sure that you leave this page open until these tasks are finished. When everything is done correctly then you should see newly added products added into your inventory in Paddle storefront. You can now create ads using both Paddle and SharpSpring services together so that you can advertise them simultaneously on Facebook or other social media platforms to increase click-through rate (CTR. significantly. You can also use landing pages with different traffic sources such as Facebook ads, Google AdWords ads or paid reviews services such as BuySellAds or Warrior Forum Ads if you want more traffic directed towards your store or place more emphasis on certain products than others.
