Gravity Forms is the ultimate WordPress form builder plugin. It was created to make your life easier by providing you with an easy way to create complex forms for your WordPress site. Gravity Forms works seamlessly on your site once activated, and requires no programming knowledge or design skills to use. You can create beautiful forms in minutes by adding fields, conditional logic, file uploads, payment gateways, shortcodes, and more. The best part about Gravity Forms is that you can use them over and over again! Every form you build can be saved as a template, so you only need to set it up once. This means you can use the same forms on multiple pages throughout your site, or even on multiple sites!
Paddle has been designed to work seamlessly with Gravity Forms. If you are using Gravity Forms on your website, then you will be able to use it in Paddle, without any additional configuration required. This section provides some insight into how integration of the two plugins works.
When using Gravity Forms in Paddle, all forms will appear in the left hand menu, just like widgets. If you need to add new forms to your custom post type (or other custom types), you will do so in the built-in drag & drop content builder in Paddle. You will drag & drop your form onto the page, and then you will drag & drop fields onto the form.
Adding new forms is very easy. All you need to do is drag & drop a new form into the left hand menu area in Paddle. When you do this, you will see that Paddle automatically creates a new form in your form library in Gravity Forms. Now you will need to drag & drop fields onto it, in order to have a fully functional form. You can then edit this form just like any other form from your Gravity Forms library. This means that if you already have a Gravity Forms form created for a specific page, you can reuse it just by dragging & dropping it into the page in Paddle. In many ways, this is better than having a dedicated page for each Gravity Form in WordPress. You can have a single Gravity Form on multiple pages, and even have different fields on each page. This will save a lot of time and effort when creating a website using Paddle!

This has always been one of our primary concerns as well! All forms created using Paddle or Gravity Forms are completely free from any manual work needed after submission! For example, if someone submits one of your forms using WordPress’ built-in “Submit Posts” functionality, then it will be automatically be added to the main WordPress dashboard for review by an administrator (or whoever else is configured as “post editor”. Here they can approve or deny submissions (depending on whether approval is required by your form. Once they approve the submission (or if approval is not required), it will be emailed directly back to the person who submitted it (using an email template that you defined. If this sounds like magic then don’t worry – all of this happens behind the scenes for you! There is no need to configure anything manually! This means that if you want to display data entered into one of your forms anywhere on your website (e.g., on a static page), then you can easily do so using shortcodes! Flexible Data Handling – All forms created using Paddle or Gravity Forms support flexible post type handling (including custom post types. This means that if people fill out your forms but do not select a post type for publishing their submission, then they will still be able to publish their submission as a normal post! This makes it possible for people who fill out your forms on their phones or tablets to publish their submissions directly into WordPress without requiring any special steps! Automatic Type Detection – Another very common question we receive about our plugins relates to how people can detect what type(s. of submissions were made from a given form. This has always been very important for us because we believe that people should be able to use whatever top they want for cplecting user input from their sites! We have therefore added automatic type detection functionality into our integration with Gravity Forms! This means that it is now possible for users who fill out forms created with Paddle or Gravity Forms to detect what type(s. of submissions were made from those forms! The benefit here is that users can now use whatever method they prefer for cplecting user input from their sites, without needing to change anything about their forms!
