When you configure the Outbound Webhook integration, you will receive a URL that looks like this. http://domain.com/zconnect/integrations/{integrationid}/webhooks/{webhookid}. The integrationid and webhookid are unique identifiers for a particular Outbound Webhook integration. You can generate a new webhookid for a specific Outbound Webhook integration by clicking on the “Generate New Webhook ID” button at the bottom of the page. This generates a new webhookid for the Outbound Webhook integration. In order to configure the Outbound Webhook integration with Zoho Connect, you need to copy the URL from the above example and paste it into the “Webhook URL” field in your Outbound Webhook configuration page. You can find this configuration page by going to Alerts > Integrations > Outbound Webhooks > New Outbound Webhook integration. Please note that this URL is case sensitive.
Once you have configured the URL, you must also provide a payload message for the payload type specified in the payload field. In order to configure a payload message, you need to go to Alerts > Integrations > Outbound Webhooks > Settings for Outbound Webhooks > Payload Type > New Payload Type. At this point, you must specify the name of the payload type. The payload type is used to identify what will be sent as a payload when an alert is triggered through this Outbound Webhook integration. Once you have selected the payload type and provided a name for it, you can go ahead and provide a payload message for this payload type by clicking on the “Generate New Payload Message” button at the bottom of the page. This will generate a payload message that can then be used as a payload value in order to configure an Outbound Webhook integration with Zoho Connect. To provide a payload value for an Outbound Webhook integration with Zoho Connect, go to Alerts > Integrations > Outbound Webhooks > Settings for Outbound Webhooks > Payload Type > Payload Message and specify the name of the payload type and payload message that you created earlier.
Once you have completed all of the steps mentioned above, you will be able to successfully integrate your Zoho Connect application with OpsGenie via an Outbound Webhook integration.
