Using the Alerts API integration available in both OpsGenie and Todoist, you can integrate them together. Using this integration, you can get the fplowing benefits:

• Integration of OpsGenie with Todoist helps you get notifications of new Todoist tasks directly into OpsGenie. A task in Todoist is created when a trigger in OpsGenie sends an alert. So when a new alert is fired in OpsGenie, if the alert has a corresponding action set in OpsGenie to save information about the alert in Todoist, then the newly created task in Todoist will be created based on the alert information.
• Whenever a task in Todoist is updated, the changes will be reflected in OpsGenie along with the alert that triggered the update. When an alert in OpsGenie is updated (e.g., due to respving the alert), its associated task in Todoist will also be updated. The update action in Todoist can be set using the API integration between OpsGenie and Todoist. The API integration allows you to create and modify Todoist tasks based on alerts in OpsGenie. This way when an alert in OpsGenie is respved or closed, you can automatically update the task state in Todoist.
• You can use the API integration to create a task in Todoist (or add an attachment to an existing task. by sending data from an alert in OpsGenie. For example, when a reboot alert is fired in OpsGenie, you can create a new task in Todoist containing the data from the reboot alert (e.g., hostname, rack number or location (if using multiple racks), and description. When a Todoist notification needs to be sent from OpsGenie, you can query for all the tasks that have been created from alerts in OpsGenie and include their data in your notification message. In addition to getting them from Alerts API integration, you could also get tasks from other APIs such as Getting Started API by specifying their IDs or names. You could also get tasks from other APIs such as Getting Started API by specifying their IDs or names.
• You can also get all tasks belonging to a particular user using the Users API integration and include them in a Todoist notification. When a notification is sent from OpsGenie to a user's preferred channel (e.g., email), then all tasks belonging to that user will also be included along with the notification message. This way you do not need to create custom integrations for each team member’s task management software to get their tasks into your notification messages.
