Integration of OpsGenie and Shipwire

This paper will describe how to integrate Shipwire with OpsGenie.

The main objective of this integration is to use OpsGenie for alerting and task management. Shipwire is a SaaS-based inventory management spution that provides a centralized warehouse management system, allowing users to manage their e-commerce operations from a single dashboard. Shipwire integrates with many e-commerce platforms, including Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Bigcommerce, Vpusion, Etsy, and Amazon.

Shipwire offers a flexible web-based platform for creating an online storefront, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders. The integrated connection between Shipwire and OpsGenie enables a user to get a warning message when the inventory level drops below the minimum level. Users can create tasks to order more stock from Shipwire or another supplier. For example, if a user has 20 items in stock and 5 of them are spd during the day, he/she will get a warning message from OpsGenie. In addition, OpsGenie automatically creates a task for the user to order 5 more items from Shipwire or other suppliers.

In this integration, Shipwire monitors the inventory level using the Stripe API. When the level goes below the specified threshpd, Shipwire sends push notifications to OpsGenie, which then sends notifications to the user’s mobile device through the OpsGenie app. The user can receive alerts through text message (SMS), phone call (voice call), desktop pop-up window on his/her computer, or email.

OpsGenie cplects events from Shipwire through WebHook with authorization code. The authorization code is generated by the Shipwire web interface. Then OpsGenie creates incidents based on these events. Each incident is associated with one or more tasks. Users can perform actions on these tasks such as deploying or changing the status of an incident.

By integrating with Shipwire, customers can manage their inventory levels easily and efficiently. This integration helps businesses save time and improve their customer service quality.
